ON top of that, that defective phone might not have that problem, the problems might vary, so out of all the defective phones out there, only a few have a battery problem.

You came with the 1 in 10000 number out of thin air, then suddenly made a calculation based on that lol. 240000 people with defective phones is a huge number and would make headlines. Without having to do rocket science, one can therefore infer that your initial assumption is probably faulty.
Defect rates are probably very very low, but agreed the phone should be replaced.

iphone5, 07 Dec 2012my iphone5's battery really sucks, with LTE on, the battery... moredefective phone. Contact apple. I think 1 in 10000 people will get your issue. You probably got one with a weak battery. I;ve heard this before, very rare, but 1 in 10000 is still 240 000 people will get this issue, if you sell 24 million units.
