As a financial student you of all people should know that there isn't a perfect correlation between an excellent product with financial results. Marketing, marketshare, mindshare, all have a role to play. After all, the Lumia 920 is a fantastic phone, one of the best, but it struggles due to the overall story of OS marketshare.
Market price is driven by many things, and media can play a role in the market reaction. This can be seen by Apple's latest price surge which an analyst called "Insanely insane", which reminds me, as a financial student you should keep up with the latest news.

actually i really disappointed by my Iphone5. i was expecting alot with it. but unfortunately i have given to my nephew to play games thats it.
Obviously Blackberry are good phones.
but Iphone5 is really worse than Galaxy s3.

Just because Iphone5 is flopped phone. The Share Market Worth of Apple Company is dropped Suddenly by 100 Billion USD (APPLE COMPANY NOT IPHONE5) read it carefully baby.
So previous month Apple Company worth was 650 Billion USD and now its worth is 550 Billion USD.
Samsung kicks Apple so nicely in term of his product Galaxy S3.
And dont say this like android fans are irritating. See iphone fans are also very irritating and annoying they are in GALAXY S3 Forums, and defending iphone5.

What a person chooses to buy is his choice, you can say why you think it's a bad choice, but it is really none of your business and you can only offer an opinion, but cannot enforce it.
GSMArena has guidelines here which many Fandroids do not adhere to. It's simple really, RESPECT being your main guide and things should go smoothly.
Lastly, a person could want to buy a Blackberry today and it may be the best phone for him/her. Android isn't everything, and people are simply different.

it is really not like that. i was in samsung galaxy s3 forum, which was full with iphone 5 users. i was really laughing..

i have told the fact in previous post that. Apply Company losses it market worth to 100 Billion USD because S3 made iphone5 flopped.
And apple has fired their 2 most old and reliable employees because of this..
So these are facts. i am not hitting anybody here. because fact is fact. either you guys accept or deny. World knows what is the right thing.

As for Android, there are literally hundreds of devices that adopt it ( as opposed to only a very few, all Apple devices that use iOs ). If you install many apps on iOs you'll start to notice that it isn't as fluid as you first thought. Likewise, a light to medium use of Android can go smoothly ( depending on what device you use ). With higher end devices you might even get a smooth operation even with heavy use. I'm not one of the "fandroids" that are mentioned here; before I started using an android device, I was using iOs. the more I used it however, the more underwhelmed I became. even the most basic things were missing -- the user interface was messy; anything I installed was simply thrown on the main screen. You could arrange the app icons' positions, but that was it. You can't group certain apps together for convenience's sake. An even bigger problem is that you can't download files from the internet ( let alone use them ). Even the most basic files ( unless they're media files utilised by iOs ), have restrictions placed upon them by iOs. When I switched to Android however, all of these problems have gone -- whether it's the lack of organisational capabilities or the lack of usability, and I've never regretted the switch. It made me wonder why Apple products enjoyed such popularity. It seems this popularity is more dependant on name and fandom rather than practicality and quality.

When you FIRST hear about the S3, you hear its soooo good. But after a while you start to hear many problems with it.
When you FIRST hear about the ip5, you hear its soooo bad and overrated. But after a while you start to hear many good things about it. s3 overrated, android = crap. I take stablity, reliability over crashing, reboots, uknown errors, and unfixed giltches, customization any day. android is the worst os out there, and they are damn lucky windows didn't come out the same time they did.

also cut into EVERYONES sales, (whoever sold mini tablets)
When the S3 came out in May, during the same time to the time ip5 was released, the Iphone4s sold almost as much phones as the s3 did. The iphone5 is the fastest selling phone in history, and this phone is still not released in every country yet. Far from dying. It is a competition, oh btw, did you hear? Asians galaxy s3's is not compatible with jelly bean 2. lol!!! it causes the entire phone to crash and die. lol! Suck on that Fandroid!

This is a great site. Only wish the comment sections weren't filled so much with unreasonable people. Even the GSMArena writers themselves came down and told the fanboys how unreasonable they were a while back.

Iphone5 is basically Closed system phone
and Android Phone is Open System phone and lot of customization. that is why Samsung Galaxy S3 is on the top with superb features Screen & Processor.
i wish Iphone5 had 4.5 inch screen. and little bit more customization.
Then today iphone5 would be No.1 in popularity aswell.. but unfortunately it is flopped.
And Apple Company also lost 100 Billion USD worth in Stock Market because of Samsung Galaxy S3.
