iSJ5, 26 Sep 2012please explain me what is special about jelly bean? im curi... moreJellybean doesn't have that many extra features and fairly similar to ICS really, but is a Hell of a lot smoother and faster and getting close to IOS smoothness but of course Android does a lot more so is a much bigger achievement than Apple with IOS that's barely changed in 5 years.

Anonymous, 26 Sep 2012Itty bitty scratches straight out of box... no good Agreed. That is unacceptable, as iPhone users are used to high standards. Replace immediately.

Apparently a bad batch from initial manufacturing, which will be rectified by Apple.

The Best Way to See If the iPhone 5 Scratches Is to Scratch the Hell Out of It Inside the Apple Store

                    http://m.gizmodo.com/5946452/the-best-way-to-see-if-the-iphone-5-scratches-is-to-scratch-the-hell-out-of-it-inside-the-apple-store

                    From the article:

"Does it suck to have scratches on something brand new that you just spent a lot of money on? Hell yeah it does. But it's probably not a design flaw—nothing like Antennagate—and the aluminum back doesn't have the fragile beauty of the iPhone 4 and 4S' glass back. Swapping shattered glass for possibly scratched aluminum seems like a net positive.

And just look at the video above (which looks like it's filmed inside an AT&T store and not an Apple Store). That dude goes to town on the iPhone 5 and it holds up surprisingly well, even after some pretty gnarly noises."

                              Hater tactics.

iPhone 4 launch - suddenly gripping a phone tightly to reduce signal, becomes a NEW thing lol.

Then, after they waste all their breath dissing Apple, in a stroke of genius Apple releases iPhone 4S, with EXACTLY the same design, and the haters scratch their head. Guess what, suddenly it's all about the GLASS. Strangely, no one questioned the glass for the whole year when iPhone 4 was using it.

iPhone 5 - glass is replaced with Aluminium, much more durable, smashes SGS3 (literally) in 3 separate drop test videos, and suddenly it's about itty bitty scratches. And also, suddenly scratching phone backing with keys is an acceptable thing lol. Wonder why other phone launches don't have a "let's scratch the hell out of the back" test hahaha.

What happens when iPhone 5S launches next year with same design?

The key to remember is that phones all come with good and bad, haters hate that Apple gets so much press for good, yet fail to see that it also means it goes under scrutiny more, and the bad gets highlighted equally as much.

Phones with much greater bad points get nowhere as much attention. If I wanted to, I could scour the net for every bad point about SGS3, make a list, and go trolling away. To me that's a waste of time, and frankly speaking I don't care to spend much time on things I don't like.

That's why I concentrate on the phone that I like, and its good points, which I can share with others.

I use iphone5 et where I would never go and use Samsung S3 to back home.

Year in year out, Apple haters wait for iPhone launch as much as Apple fans. They then tear it down, trying their best to find any small weakness.

Any phone will have a weakness, but what the haters don't understand is that people don't buy phones based on a list of weaknesses, they buy phones on a list of wins. iPhone sells a lot due to this, and so does SGS3 in the Android world.

With that in mind, that's why I tend to concentrate on the good points of the iPhone. If Android manufacturers wants to sell more, they should do the same instead of obsessing over their rival. A little too late though, as they are now being blindsided by WP8.
