After looking through the specs.... to be honest.... quite disappointed. 640 x 1136 pixels? Is this a midrange phone? How does Apple expect to compete against HOX and S3? I don't understand. Not sure how the A6 performs in comparison to the exynos processor on S3. Might as well look more into it. Most disappointed by the Battery LIFE!! 1424 mah is abysmal. Never heard of an iphone that is battery swap-able. Good luck i5 users...

Seen in youtube that apple didnt invent anything...copied and put it in one. Apple invention stopped when wozniak left apple.

they made the cover aluminium this time bacause if u dropped the 4s on the floor it would crack all over and u need some nice cash to fix, so they are selling us a correct 4s just with faster processor.fail apple

But if this case ever goes to an American court Apple will win and that other company will probably end up owing them a Billion Dollars because it's just impossible to beat Apple in an American court with American Jurors picked at random knowing nothing about the law and expected to be unbiased.

Bet iphone will c... moreYeah getting Ram to allocate processes for multitasking is a Hell of a job and it's why Android doesn't run as smooth as IOS, because IOS is almost like it's just in 2 dimensions and can only do 1 thing at a time, where Android has that extra dimension and depth to do any amount of things at the same time.
And people who brag about IOS running faster do just need to understand what an achievement it is for Android to run as well as it does on so many phones,
And to compare the 2 to a piece of art, IOS is like a painting but Android is more like a sculpture.

What is the cpu?? Dual core 1 ghz or quad core 1 ghz?? And what is the gpu?? Everyone already knows that it is a A6 chip but that doesn't say anything to me.

Anyone T-Mobile UK got an adapter when they ordered their nano sim?No person has that ive asked...It does seem only O2 UK are giving out adaptors,not sure on other networks..
Two tech mates online have ordered one black one white with 2 per customer order,,now they think the white one is better and has better finish.So they are returning black model..Mmm i will have to wait and see ive ordered black.
Downlink speeds are up on iphone5 v iphone 4 which i find hard to believe in reality but cant prove otherwise just yet..Other reports are saying battery is only slightly better with IP5 with it having to push extra pixels and the extra RAM bank taking up some more juice..My mates have been work allday so only had few hours with device..Overall outcome so far is very nice..

You are the judge here and yo... more2gb on the quad core S3 would be better if they optimised it for the exynos but it really wouldn't make that much difference unless you a heavy multitasker, because it has around 220MB only allocated for system processes so for certain things I doesn't matter how much memory you have, then Android has become very good at prioritising ram allocation so certain things stay in the memory no matter what. And it's only when you really start hammering the phone with open processes that the extra ram makes the difference.
And that's why iPhone 5 doesn't need extra ram because when you close an App it clears it straight out the memory so you'll only ever need the ram 1 App needs and nothing is gonna use over 1gb.

RAM can be fast or slow the iphone5 is using 2 x 512MB RAM banks with clock speed of 1066MHz,,cant say for SGS3 but it could be just using standard 800MHz 1024MB RAM in one single bank.

Just bought one you won't be disappointed. Very please with the phone the extra real estate on the screen is a major plus, phone feels extremely well built but very light. Previous phones I've had nexus 1, hd7, n8, iPhone 4, Galaxy s, nexus galaxy,. Very please with my purchase

Samsung S3 uses 2GB RAM because it's faster and better with QUAD-CORE processor and that's like twice the speed of Iphone 5. Now someone saying that 1 litre of water is more than 2 litres of water is plain stupid so same goes here. The unit is same and Ghz and RAM is always constant. They do not get faster or slower themselves. They do what they show like 1GB of RAM means less room and 2GB of RAM means bigger room and more capacity to run stuff and that means pure and smooth multi-tasking. You can barely run 2 apps in Iphone 5 but you can run 5 to 6 apps simultaneously in Samsung Galaxy S3.
Even then, you are the judge and you should use both to experience the difference I have described above and you'll know the REAL difference. Samsung's way ahead with sales and technology.
