No matter how good this phone is, it still lacks tons of features it should have.

        Android is slower to ios and WP because of functionality,and yes, optimalisation to some extend. But from 4.1 it will be butter smooth and ios still lacks some basic functionality. Anyway, I don't believe SGSIII is superior to Iphone 5 in general, but new arrivals from LG and HTC beat it hands down in most departments. Obviously they don't have those rounded icons...

          Anonymous, 18 Sep 2012Very well said, and this is even with Apple not having to b... moreI tried Lumia 710 which is midrange and only single core but was just like IOS smooth as silk..Android is pushing quadcore/1GB RAM potent GPU but still has lags and stutters and force close..SAy goodbye to all that confusion with IOS or W7.

          IOS and W7 are consistently consistant consistantly..That because of coding which is polished just like the apps.

                        this phone kinda looks like the iphone 4s i already have ,i mean come on they could have at least changed the the phone's design ,this sucks , realy guys remind me why i would buy it , it has outdated tec that other phones already have , there is nothing new on this phone 'nothing' and whats with the nano sim , man i am so disapointed i was expecting something light years ahead and all apple keeps doing is making the same phone over and over

                          Well, apple still using this similar design with iphone 4, because simply it is the best design for smartphone for now. Every other brand try to make their design similar with it, i think it's stupid if apple leave this design. Samsung use their s3 new design and called it innovation, i think we all know s2 base design is better than s3. Samsung change their design simply cause they have no choice to copy paste apple design anymore. Fyi i love iphone but using sony android too. I must be honest i didn't like samsung for what they do. Learn from sony who try to use their own design than copy others.

                                S3 is superior specs wise but Iphone provides a smoother user experience. An unbiased opinion from personal experience with galaxy note, Iphone 4s, galaxy s2, Iphone 4, Xperia X10i, Iphone 3gs, Ipad 3, Galaxy tab 8.9, Ipad 2, Galaxy tab p1000, and Ipod touch 3rd gen.
