iPhone may or may not have the highest ppi (not sure if it has), but there are alot of phones who are very close (HTC one X, Samsung Galaxy S3, Sony Xperia S), I doubt you can even notice the difference in ppi.
About the GPU, how are you so confident about it's going to get the same GPU as the iPad 3? The iPad is a whole different product!
About the CPU, maybe the iPhone gets a quadcore, but you don't even know how it performs. A dualcore snapdragon S4 outperforms a quadcore Nvidia Tegra 3! It doesn't say anything!
About memory, most (NOT ALL) android phones have expendable memory. Which I find a very big pro. It doesnt limit your memory as mch as the iPhone. An honesty, I find 100$ a bit overpriced for 16GB more memory.
About iOS, iOS may have the largest appstore and be safe. But it's also the appstore with the most useless apps in there. Yes its true android's market doesn't get screened, but so what? Have you ever catched someone who had a virus on their phone? Yeah, me neither.
About all of samsungs phones. Maybe they have a billion of phones, but not everyone wants or is able to pay 600$ for a phone. Some just want a phone with basic features and of course the iPhone is better than those. But that's because they are not made to compete against a phone like the iPhone. Samsung makes phones for everyone, whether tey wants to pay 600$ or 10$.
I'm not saying Apple/iPhone is bad, but there are different options. In my opinion, the iPhone is easier to use (Which is a plus for alot of people) and (High-end) Android devices have more features.
There is no phone that is "the best". It's just your preferences!

Tanvir, 31 Aug 2012Apple is just another bully in the neighbourhood.Its fighti... moreI am a apple boy and was totally frustrated with iphone 4s but looking at iphone 5 itz amazing...I loved siri in iphone 4s itz amazing with ios 6 and android is a fluke cuz androids come with all the useless phones to the best phones in the market both of them get the same kind of mobile experience but ios is a premium device always cuz it comes with the best mobile in the market and doesn't go with the low class mobiles..And the best place for apps is the app store in ios with tons and tons of useful apps but the playstore its totally a open source anyone can upload any kind of apps and u can't give android mobile to ur children to download apps...apple the best always

Apple freak, 02 Sep 2012I dont think that this phone can beat Samsung galaxy s3 but... moreSony has already beaten the SGS3 in benchmark tests, and the Lumia 920 comes with PureView camera tech. Galaxy series became popular due to hardware superiority which it's rivals are now not allowing anymore. SGS3 may still sell very well, but the dominance in Android may be coming to an end. Oh and iPhone sales have consistently been many multiples of the Galaxy series year in and out.

I just hope they do something about the crap battery life. You can do all this stuff with them but u need to charge them twice day.
