Its been a year i have been using iphone5.
The major issues faced by me and my friends were on Updates. After updating to iOS 7, the phone would freeze any moment and and only option is to restart.
However, with the release of another Update in March 2014, this problem was solved but now i am facing something called as Blue Screen of Death. The phone screen would turn ink blue and freeze. It requires Manual Restart.
Wondering why apple cannot release specific updates. After a successful usage of iphone for 11 months, I am parting with it on a very sad and disappointed note.

keep apps to a minimum. keep only those apps which are useful to u and close the ones not in use.
turn off the data if/when gprs is not of much use to you (like when in office/class/sleeping)
keep phone brightness to a lower level.
(Carry a powerbank if u r a frequent traveller)
