I have a 5C also and the latest software is as you say horrible it is doing things that I do NOT want it has now magnified all of my contacts so that I cannot read the phone numbers unless I edit and get the number. How do I correct this????????????/

But its horrible and terrible. Shall I go back to 7.1.1 or shall I go back to 9.3.5. How shall I go back what r the steps to go back. Please tell I am suffering wits with this crappy iOS 10.0.2

1. Try a soft reset: Hold the power and home button for 10 seconds until the apple logo appears.
2. After a major update, it is normal that battery drains faster for the first 2-4 days. Although your case sounds more serious, just wait that long. If it isn't better then, try to reset it. If it is still not better, contact Apple support.

But without using and connecting to internet, the battery drains sooooo much faster . I didn't even install any app. When I just operate it heats like anything, and even if not using while the device is not in use the battery drains sooooo fast. I even reduced the brightness to 0%.
