Two week... moreSame thing just happened to me yesterday ... was told my 5c could not support the new update and it fried my 16 month old phone. I had to buy a new phone at full price. I am so disappointed with Apple...they could have warned us. I walked in laughing about a kill button in our phones...I'm not laughing now.

I got an iPhone and is asking me to update software for two days and right now the phone is dead and is not coming up what do i do.

I bought the 5c in August 2015, on a 2yr contract. Two weeks ago, the phone went black and the apple icon was flickering; completely inoperable. I called tech support, they couldn't help but suggested the Apple Store. I took it to the Apple Store and the tech said, those phones cannot upgrade the latest software anymore and the phones are becoming extinct. If I had purchased a particular insurance when I bought the phone, they would have given me a new phone. Very upset, I went to the AT&T Store to see what options I had. The retail associate told me, I had to payoff the balance before I could get another phone. In conclusion, I had this phone for 1.6 yrs, I'm paying for a phone that I cannot use and have to pay the balance in full; absolutely RIDICULOUS. Had the salesman mentioned any red flags regarding the 5c or even suggested the $35 dollar insurance, I probably would have chosen differently. If you're not a technical savvy person, do your homework or ask lots of questions first.

I am currently using this phone. I have the white one (32 gb variant).
It's just right for me. I have been an Android user ever since smartphones started. Tho I miss the back button that Android phones usually have.
For a full charged phone, it could last for 12-15 hours before it reaches 10%. And that includes surfing the net, listening to music, and texting.
Since I am still a student, I think this is just right for me.
[I still have 19gb storage left 😊 ]

But somebody just told ... moreHi, I am also using iPhone 5c 8GB and so far, after using certain apps like Facebook, Skype Twitter and Instagram, I have experienced no issues and lags on my device. So if you are experiencing issues you should restore your iDevice. I have also been playing high-end games such as Asphalt 8 and there have been no issues at all.

But somebody just told ... moreI suggested you to buy higher storage, 32g at least as it will take more space just for ios installation and other extra apps (whatsupp, facebook,gmail etc) and also space for your song, video or picture. I am using iphone 5c 32g and it works like a charm even after 2 years ++

I am planning to buy iphone 5c 8gb. But somebody just told me that if I will use only 8gb, the phone will be very slow specially when using applications like facebook, skype, etc. I would want to know if it's true. So to all iphone 5c 8gb user, what do you think? Thank you in advance for the answer. :)
