Your battery will not work properly cause i think you charged it with a cheap charger, and broke the controller for the battery. It will wider and wider and will do it if you get a new battery also. And may be also of the heat.

Nothing suprising it survived all those years and the best supported device.

Hello Everyone, I`ve got my iPhone 5s 32gb about 4 Years, But Nowadays It Gets Too Hot when I`m Using It, It gets hot (very Hot in Back Body) After 5 to 10 minutes after using it and I Can`t work with it anymore for it`s heating, Does anybody know what`s the problem?? why it`s get hot after 5 to 10 minutes after use?? I Updated To Latest iOS 12 ; my Wifi & Blutooth and everything that probably make hot is off, but the problem still is stand, I don`t know what should I Do. Please help Me.... Thanks....

Still works well after over half a decade, and is about as good as a new phone performance-wise to the casual user.

The iPhone 5s still good. The app on AppStore still available and suitable for iPhone 5s. For now the most lowest version of iOS is iOS 10 requirement for many app. iOS 9 is just for several old app.

Best phone ever! Period! Still have mine since 2015. Working perfectly and it is unbreakable! Just amazing!
