Get the SE if you can. 5S is too old now and screen messes up a lot even with little use it overheats. Then again I have had this phone since 2013 lol

Its not much good in 2018. but its great for me.Camera is average while comparing with latest smartphones. battery life depends how you use. if you play big games like PUBG and always on mobile data your battery will die soon. i recommend you to buy an iPhone SE

I’ve updated my iPhone 5s today . Nothing new about features on our 5s There’s Screen time and little changes on Stock, Voice Memmo app. But little improvement on performance and thats even faster than iOS 11. My iPhone 5s is only 16GB and its bought on 30/01/2016 by my brother he gave me it at 30/11/2016. Still work fine I really amazed that this device 2013 model is ok for me. I play pubg and i install other more apps too. Except the app loading time everything is fine. Battery life is also good. No other issues i found. No speed throtling issues like iPhone 6. iPhone 5s is the best iPhone with no complaints. If you own an iPhone 5s please dont sell you dont get a good phone like this anymore. iPhone 6 onwards apple slowing down the iPhones. But they left 5s they thought 4 inch phone will be out of market soon. So keep stuck with 5s. If you want to update you can do. Else you can stay with old iOS

I just updated my iPhone 5s to iOS 12(not beta).after the update i could see improvements in the performance especially opening camera.compared to the previous updates this was a useful one, because the apps are more responsive than before.and the battery life is the same,not degraded anyway.

I am using Iphone 5s since 5 years.Still it is working smoothly despite of some battery issue.With latest softwire (11.4.1) and apps like whatsapp,fb,email,and continues wifi/4G,I have to chargre twice a day.Camera is simply superb in well lighted conditions.Now I am Planning to upgrade .....just waitng to see the review of latest iphone.
But its my opinion if anyone wants to buy new iphone,dont go for 5S,because its already 5 years old with small battery and will be slow with some apps.Atleast you should start Considering from SE/6S.One i can guarantee that if you buy a new/latest Iphone,you can use it minimum 5 years without any issues.

This phone was useful, but upgraded to iphone 8 recently because the battery doesn't last 1 day and very slow. But used it for 3 years I guess so worth it.
