iphone 5s really struggle here and there with ios 11.2.5, the ram management is worse than before. playing graphic intense games is playable on the 5s, but not as fluent as the other new competitor, considering 5s is a 5 years old phone, camera is holding really well, it's 8 mp and have video recording capable to 1080p30 and slomotion 720p120 which is kinda old, the new iphone x nowadays have 4k60/2160p60 and 1080p120, 5s is using the A7 cyclone with dual-core 1.3 GHZ 1 gigs of ram (999mb), i don't recommend 5s as a daily driver today, but i recommend 5s to be a secondary phone because it's cheap now, the base model starts at 99$ to 250$. hope this can be helpful :)

SN, 21 Feb 2018SE is better than 5S ???The SE is basically a 6S with 5S the front camera and touch ID and smaller screen and no force touch or barometer.

I replaced the old battery of my iPhone 5s with a grade A second hand original battery last December. Standby time now lasts for days, and playing online games like mobile legends on high settings and on wifi could last for at least 3 hours. Overall performance today is slow but the stock apps like camera still works pretty fine and fast.

Apple replaced myniphone 5s with a new refurbished iphone 5s . Battery is not that good but when in i updated my software to ios 11.2.5 .. battery standby is 45 hours .. i can use it for text and calls, minimal internet usage thru wifi and data ... takes about around 22 hours

Do one thing i al not confirm ahout it still i did, discharge phone till its not getting automatically off and then start to switch on phone it will show you msg connect your charger do it ahain and again at least 4-5 times and then plug the charger and don’t use phone while charging till it’s not going to charge till 100% and then you have to take care about one thing that keep your eyes on battery % if its 99 wait till 100 it will be 100 soon and don’t overcharge it like don’t leave your phone on 100% more than 1 min i hope it will work l, it it won’t work then go and show it to service centre

battery usage kinda annoying. on screen battery still show 46%, suddenly phone turned off when u start used it. Not sure my phone battery problem or other problem.

But didn't fix the issue. I think the problem comes from hardware (this case :- the touch digitizer) And I think you'll have to replace the touch screen digitizer with lcd (won't cost much)
