Newcomer, 26 Jul 2014It's all about being fast, is that what you say?Its more about efficient.
If it can do the same work in less cycle, or do the same work with slower cycles. Means more battery life. Thats the case of A7. You can increase clock speed (GHz).. then you can be fast also.. but will impact battery.. iPhone no space for big battery.
But it also mean the OS / RAM / Cache / CPU / Apps, all have to be 64bit length also. If OS or Apps are not 64bit.. the CPU is not efficient at all.. since it execute them as 32bit chunk.

With 64 Bit operating system your mobile performance with high graphics games will be smother.Game programmer will have a bigger canvas to play (Simply smooth and mind blowing graphics in your phone). Speed of the phone due to the beautiful IOS operating system. I have been using Iphone5S for two months and i miss android slightly on data transfer, Google maps (more accurate on Nokia, samsung, etc in india). For games please buy apple product.....

yes..thats normal when you are using celluar data..it will become increasingly hot rather than using wifi..battery also will drain faster when using cellular :-)

32bit = can execute instructions of length 32 bits
In theory it is twice as fast as 32bit if the GHz is same.

its not the specs. its software that does it all. personally i prefer android though. even though the apple is the more secure operating system, think that android are more open to software, i can easily transfer, and i can play anything on it. apple are just not as open with their software, too many licences!

I'm new to Apple so as I bought iphone 5s on monday the performance has been mind blowing especially its touchscreen and how quick applications do opened. my question, 64 bit means what in my phone. Someone told me android uses 32 bit. How do I benefit from 64 bit? Answer please..I'm still learning iphone

My iPhone 5S beats my friends galaxy note 3 in performance test though the note 3 has more powerful cores. Even my 5S camera beats her note 3. Samsung really sucks!

My iPhone 5s runs very smoothly, no any single of freezing, software crashes or any other problem. No need to worry about the specifications if the real-life performance is great.
Apple doesn't care about specifications, all they care about provide super smooth user experience for their buyers.

i can't believe iphones are so expensive yet their specs are pathetic, the price of motorola moto g is a third of that of iphone 5s yet has most of the specs equal or better, only the camera is worse and it has less memory but if you were planing to spent this much money on this junk you might as well buy a motorola and an additional SD card for it cause the iphone just isn't worth it
