A battery that stays mostly between 40 and 60% can in theory take 6000 charging cycles, thats 100% cycle equivalent, the number grows to 24,000 if you charge only 25%, while a "cycled" battery has lost 20% capacity after only 300 cycles, which is in less than a year for iPhone 5s, or even less than half a year for heavy users who fully charges twice a day.
20% disappeared in 5 months, is that desirable? No its not, thats why you will charge when battery reaches 40% and charge it up to only 80%, or 90% to be more realistic but those extra 10% still causes extra damage to the battery.

My Touch ID button is not working . So in settings I did erase all content & setting . My phone restarted , then I saw instead of Touch ID & pass code there is only pass code option & I cannot be able to give any fingerprints . If anyone has a solution , please help me

Normal workday - 100 emails push / charge 1hr per 24hrs usage. - Go work, whole day, transit 4 hrs, come back charge 1 ~ 2 hrs .. next day.
Weekend - Spend with family members / occasion msg / last the whole weekend.. Sunday night, charge 1~2hrs .. next day ..
My battery life hovers between 10% ~ 90% .. the last 10 or so percent takes longer.. i no patient to wait.
I bet there are phones with better battery endurance. However what 5S have is predictable and constant battery life.. no matter what apps installed.

Never buy this phone.... low screen resolution... low pixel density... low battery life..., less RAM... small screen... no 4k video recording... but big cost... only for metalic body... The world has gone far from tec... now there's 3gb RAMs.. 15-48 MP cameras... qHD display panels...extra fast download speeds., dust and water proof bodies... super bright display panels.. in smartphones.. who is the fulish who by this phone only for design and 64 bit pr.. go for Htc M8, Xperia Z2 , Samsung Galaxy S5, Lg G2 , Galaxy Note 3, Upcoming galaxy F .. Or Upcoming Apple's Another Device.

If you fail to charge at night.. you are doomed for the day. iPhone can charge anywhere anytime... even from weak car chargers. plus using at the same time.
And the long standby and efficient sleep, means chances of you running out of battery is very slim.
