I am using iPhone 5S since Dec 2013, & I just can say... it's an amzing phone eventhogh I know I am paying bit more than westeren world. But that does not matter at all. The resolutions and featres are awesome. It's so light and smooth. I feel like operating it for entire day and night.
In one word, It's a good phone if you want a phone to keep with you for longer period.

In my opinion u should go for iphone 5s 16gb
Reasons are
1.metallic body with aluminium and glass housing making it very light and premium with only 112gm weight
2.with iphone 5s u get double the performance than 5c in gaming as well as browsing
3.go for iphone 5s gold model which looks very rich and royal
4.as u mentioned that u r going to use it for years then iphone 5s is the right choice for u as it has 64 bit desktop class architecture which makes ur iphn futute proof means all the future apps will get optimised specifically for 64bit
5.with camera u get better aperture size as well as dual led flash which is called as true tone flash by apple
6.if u r a heavy gamer like me then u r going to face memory issues with 16gb but u can always move the data to i cloud
7.ios 7 is specifically designed for iphone 5s so both compliment each other very well

1.if you don't need airplay or airdrop jusy off it.
2.switch off automatic app refresh.
3.switch on reduce motion.its reduce your phones motion but save your lots of battery
4.dont set a live wallpaper just set simple wallpaper
5.turn off wifi or bluetooth when you dont need it.
6.set brightness at automatic.
Do these tips to increase you iphones battery life.and answer me is it woeks or not.when these tips cant work go to the apple care and restore your iphone

There might be chances that u could have got faulty piece i m in india and the only problem i m facing is of crash...some app like youtube,flipkart,quickr, fb etc are getting crashed...i think its not a bug in ios but inability of devlopers to optimise their app for ios 7 ... I m a big fan of gameloft games and i have never experienced any crash while playing games...i do use whatsapp nd it also runs buttery smooth...

AnonD-8044, 09 Mar 20147.1 is due soon (March 14th ive heard) I am hoping for 2 th... moreGetting crashes where it goes back to springboard,,especially using Safarai using spotlight .Had 4 crashes when using a music app and phone reboots to Apple logo.Worse battery than ios 6.Sometimes typing takes a while to catch up on keypad its intermittent tho.I don't think auto brightness is working..This was on my iphone 5s I have now sold it and got 4s..
The 4s is slower but problem is auto brightness and keyboard lag and crashing back to springboard..I think 7.1 is going to add new things but mainly a big bug fix.

chester, 08 Mar 2014S4 has all those things and work better than any iphone made.hey dude! I own a sgs4 its laggy due to heavy touchwiz! Out of 1.7 gb only 200-350 mb is presnt alwyz!....
i was used to be a sammy fan but their design turned me out!...
s4 is my worst smrtphn ever!
very happy with my iphone 5s!.

Dont worry about the trolls ..... Its their job let them do .... Please share the info u got.... Also m experiencing a problem in ios 7.0.6 .... After double clicking the home button as soon as task manager is opened and again when u go back to home screen and instantly at that moment if u touch the screen it does not respond for a second.... Do u experience the same thing ...? I am using iphone 5s gold and have seen this bug in 5c as well as 4s also.....
