Anonymous, 14 Jan 20151.3 faster than 2.5??? what are u smokinyes 1.3 is faster than 2.5 the reason is iphone 6 is 64-bits machine while every other mobile is 32-bits so 64-bit processor of 1.3 duel core is much more faster

Android phones specially samsungs smartphone are having much more processors and ram , no doubt , but apple products are entirely different , im personal a user of iphone, i didnt have experience the problem if hanging or any other such things , i have also used s4 it was having lots of problem like hanging heating up etc. we cant compare apple phone with others

No Dought this is the king of smartphone's..I switched from samsung s5 to this Gadget and No issue's Everything is great like camera,design Performance etc,,But now am facing some issues like slightly animation stuttering, glitches while playing hd Games and slightly lag while scrolling in apps..I did everything like hard reset,reduced motion in accessibility,Turned location service of etc,..I did every thing and even went to apple store and they just hard resetted the device and gave back which dint fix the issue..And i am currently on ios 8.1.2..Should i wait till next ios update release to fix that stuttering and lag issues???? or if someone has any solution or suggestion's suggest me plz???Plz plz plz plz plz plz plz friends somone suggest me what to do???????Thanx In Advance..!!

1.3 ghz is much faster than 2.5ghz its only for iphone! All chips perfectly fitted as same direction. I disappointed when i saw iphone bend test on youtube, but i'm gonna buy one

Its so easy gimmick to trick unsuspecting customers.. "Is this phone fast?" Yes! Its running quad core ... Sold without thinking..
Its so many things affecting performance in phone, there is no way to judge based on such meaningless specs. Thats why you come to places like GSMArena they give u advice and benchmarks, real life usage and stuff and reviews. Less u go apple store and proof me right about iphone's performance.

Its faster in all task or equal regardless. How do u explain that?
1. Quad core better then dual core.. Oops wrong
2. 2.5ghz better then 1.3ghz.. Oops wrong again
3. fhd screen better.. But wait! Ipad mini still using A7 chip not even A8 still run better in more then fhd.. Oops thriple wrong again
4. Android run more apps per time.. But wait!! Android still lag running 1 app with all apps close. Oops wrong again
5. Android animate faster proving its faster, but wait again!! iOS turn on reduce motion load even faster, oops wrong again
Your knowledge of cpu /gpu is lacking. Leave that to apple engineers, do not wiki to much and blow ur brain, just trust apple. They do not take your money without doing their work, millions already bought iphone and enjoying without worrying specs.

And it trashes all kn... moreThe thing is games are programmed to run on a single core so if you playing a game on a dual core of 1.7ghz and quad core of 1.3ghz the dual core would perform better. That's also why games get hot on quad cores because those games aren't programmed to use multiple cores. The quad core is better for every day performance because it'll do every single thing faster than a dual core like sending messages and boot up time will be faster (2.5ghz quad core) and you'll also notice that phones with quad cores run very fast while multitasking and can have apps open for a long time. So to be honest games would be the same on a android phone and apple phone but android phones do everything else faster than iphone like opening apps, restarting faster, sending messages faster, running apps that support multiple cores etc.

Otherwise the iPhone will be found in 'My Computer' but all of the content on it will be invisible and inaccessible. If you run into that, all you need to do is touch the iPhone, unlock the screen and enter the passcode, and all of your stuff will be visible as expected.

Intel laptops all uses dual cores. Number of transistors is a better measurement.. And Apple chip have always the highest count.
Cores are not a measurement of performance. Just marketing gimmick for those people who do not find out more about the cpu.. Thus get cheated.

AnonD-1825, 12 Jan 2015And that dual core is most fastest and smoothest device in ... moreOptimizing can only do that much, the truth is that Apple has very powerful CPUs so even if there are only two of them each core have higher IPC than any other CPU, and higher IPC means higher single threaded performance and that is important in real life usage.
Android would run very fast on Apple A7 or A8, it wouldnt win all the benchmarks but it would win for day to day performance. I think everyone agree that Nexus 9 with its powerful dualcore is outperforming most other Android devices, and Apple A8 is even more powerful than that.

Yesterday i was watching live feedof ballon d'or ceremony and suddenly right side of my headphone stopped working , then after few mins it started working again this kept on happening thrice.
I tried listening to songs to check the headphones but it was alright
Should i go to applestore and share my problem or is it okay guys
Plzz help me wat to do i'm bit worried about this issue .

It's a brilliant phone! It is beautifully crafted, it is fast, the screen is really bright and crisp and it just works with all my other Apple products.
The only issues I have with it are minor, but still worth mentioning:
- The on/off button is moved to the side, which takes some getting used to.
- The headphone jack is in the bottom (I guess it has been since iPhone 5). This doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I never have the phone upside-down in my pocket anyway.
- The camera lens is slightly extruded from the case, which I find is somewhat disturbing for the design of the phone. I would much rather have the entire phone be 1 mm. thicker (which would also allow for a bigger battery) and have the sense not sticking out.
Even with these 3 minor "issues", it is still a really great phone.
