                        When browsing the net using safari I get sometimes a slow response from the screen, or hanging issues. Haven't had this before, anyone else? Running the latest version iOS.

                          i updated on 11.4.1 in iphone facing lot of issues of hanging and unresponsive screen.Not to recommend this phone.

                            With low price to desire apple device, iphone 6 is good choice and developer still support. Now ios 12 is avaliable on iphone 6. I hope ios 13 will be soon on iphone 6.

Since iOS 9 I think, Apple changed the box by making a picture on it. Apple installs the latest OS version when manufacturing. With the iPhone 6, Apple introduced a 32 GB spacegrey variant sometime after killing the other variants. If yours has iOS 11.2.2 on it and has never been unboxed/activated before, it was built after January 8th 2018.
