shutthefrontdoor, 15 Sep 2014i dont know which lower clocked amd outperformed higher clo... moreok. What about AMD 3200 vs 3.2ghz pentium. and those ranges of CPU's. AMD clocked much lower with very similar performance. What Im getting at is that running the higher clock speed or more cores, does not guarentee performance. What separates a quad core snapdragon 400 to a snapdragon 800? both similar clock speeds and quad core? get my point.

Samsung Note 4 is class one item in touch screen mobiles; look at the 5.7 inch screen, 2.7 quad core processor 3 GB ram colors, graphics and sensors. Iphone is trying hard to copy and compete it but failed. Ultimately they have brought their products in the market after a lot of efforts and time. However, Iphone is a better product only by virtue of clarity and smoothness of voice while talking. Samsung is a far ahead of Iphone in use of internet.

With all these specks iPhone is selling itself in millions on first day.
I won't buy it because its very expensive but I do admit I have fallen for the design and UI if it is the same as shown in the pictures

I don't see anything exciting .
I have never used Iphones or I pads except for an ipod. Now I have decided to stick with android. Untill apple really makes some impressive jumps from the old dual core

I remember reading somewhere a few years back that the iphone had a special processor just did the UI. If that's the case with newer iPhones, they probably have extra processor and ram for the UI but don't report it in the specs.

What would be next iPhone 6s?
First of all 2 version of the iPhone 6, 4.7" and 5.5", no 32GB, not sapphire glass.
I suspect, the 6s will be 5" 32GB and sapphire glass.

Hrs, which was great for a phone from last year. But iphone battery life is not the best out there. Windows phones now get around same endurance as iPhones from 2011. Ex:
IPhone 4s endurance=45hr. From 2011. Nokia lumia 930 endurance=46hr. From this year. Current Flagship. Android and apple rock!

Thank you for showing me that some people still do have a little sense rather than just believing whatever they are told. Android does have better specs. That's no argument. But if iPhones are "too much money" and "so far behind android" why are they still selling millions of phones in the first weekend of launch. Obviously there is something about iPhones that people love or else no one would buy them. Enough said.

Iphone battery life is not the best, but is very good. Iphone does not perform worlds better than android, their performance is about tic for tac, maybe iphone performs a slight bit better, but specs mean little. Honestly my opinion is that android and apple are both just as amazing; and windows SUCKS BIGTIME.

I agree with what some people are saying here, that specs on a sheet don't tell the full story, real life performance is what matters, as all my previous android phones (Galaxy S1, S3, S4) were always ahead of Apple in specs yet always performed worse. So having bigger numbers doesn't really matter at the end of the day if they aren't going to reflect in actual performance use.
But having said that, I believe Apple now are really ripping people off with the device cost vs specs for the iPhone 6. Major profits there. I think the way Apple chooses its specs is very different than others, they put "design" as their number 1 priority so if an extra 1 GB of ram is going to take more space and make the phone thicker while not really increasing performance, then it is not needed, a higher res screen is going to use more power/decrease the already bad battery life/cause the phone to get hot then it is not needed, higher clocked CPU will only cause more heat and is also not needed.
What android users don't realize is that iPhone/iOS already runs very smooth/even smoother than top end spec'd Android phones with its low specs. So I believe Apple doesn't feel the need to compete with the Android market in terms of hardware numbers. You can bash iPhone 6 for its specs on paper, but I'm sure it will be 100% smooth and lagless, and will multitask perfectly even with its 1GB ram, and if the photos that apple showed taken with the iPhone 6 are really that good (and not photoshoped) then they are repeatedly proving that its not just a numbers game, it's about refining quality.

Apple 1gb ram doesn't lag speedy just as fast as galaxy s5 yet s5 requires 3gb ram to run smooth...
Sigh people don't understand technology now days
