How many folk on here watched the iPhone 6/6+ presentation and understand Apple and how many are just ignorant spouting unfounded rubbish..They have changed a hell of a lot ,,even Ivy Bridge to Haswell to Broadwell IS NOT increasing GHz just making better efficiency and smaller whilst been as powerful if not better than the last CPU.

I have the note 3 and it's been out at least a year I believe and spec wise beats every spec on apple iPhone 6. This is why I would never switch to apple. Pay as much for half the phone. Apple needs to get it together.

Apple and Sony made the right move not to switch to 2K because that really sucks up the battery quick...which is why Sony phones have such excellent battery life; and apple phones have great battery life, even with a tiny little battery driving everything...but Sony battery life is still a bit better. I own an iPhone 5s that gets me through 2 days on average. My friends that have htcs and sonys get them through 2.5-3 days on average. As you can see that is great battery life displayed throughout all of those phones. The LG G3 has mediocre battery and performance in real life because of that amazingly sharp but overly ridiculously sharp display(2K).

Both are premium phones with high pr... moreiphone 6 might have low specs compared to android phones such as s5, htc one m8 and lg g3 but their performance is much better than them in benchmarks speed and graphics perfomance, even the dual-domain pixels makes the display more clear and sharp! Plus a 4.7 inch iphone thats something very impressive compared to the 5s!

Still specs are from 2012 phones. 1 GB ram only and dual core processor. Nothing is change since 5S. Only processor name is A7 to A8.

People bashing iphone 8mpix are total newbies !
Camera quality is not based on magapixel counts.
it's just a commercial/advertising gimmick.
especially 99.9% of people use camera phone for facebook, instagram or display on the phone screen.
Since iphone 4s the camera is already excellent so who cares...?
The previous iphones just lacked a larger screen.
Ios is much smoother, snappier.
No matter how many gig of ram on android it will always lag,
I have used all iphones and a bunch of androids up to galaxy s4.

You see now slight improvement btw iPhone 5S vs iPhone 6 but if compare improvement btw Samsung Galaxy S4 vs SG S5 better hardware improvement than iPhone 6...don't underestimated!

It's so fun to read all the comments with people hating each other :D
Let's go over the specs and performance, then. Let's start with the screen: 326 ppi and 400 ppi. You won't even see the difference between 326 and over 500, so you should not care about the screen as long as ppi is above 300 (and 2K resolution on LG G3, for example, only wastes SoC power and shortens battery life). You should look at brightness, contrast and color saturation. iPhones always had excellent displays.
The processor... Well, almost no app nowadays uses more than 2 cores on Android, so I don't really see a reason to complain about a 2-core iPhone CPU. It performs well, as well as the GPU (which even outperforms Android in some cases). In addition, 2 cores are more power-efficient than 4 or 8.
RAM, shame on you Apple. I have an iPad Air, never had any hiccups in performance, BUT... when you open 10 tabs in a browser, it ends up reloading every page instead of keeping it in RAM and loading it right away. I. So. Hate. That.
The camera... Well, as long as the quality is good I do not care about megapixels, as there is no screen which can properly even display 13MP image, and when was the last time you needed to crop an image that much that 8MP would look like shit? I love Apple devices' shutter speed, though.
iOS has it's ups and downs, so does Android and WP. I own a Nexus 4, a Win8 ultrabook (Win8 mobile experience included) and an iPad Air. Having all three systems is fun: Win8 looks cool, iPad works well, and my poor Nexus 4 has seen too many custom ROM's and kernels, so I like tweaking stuff a lot. Just a remark :)
The design. iPhone 5s looked cool, but I absolutely HATE how the back camera of iPhone 6 sticks out. Come on, make a device thicker, give it a bigger battery and hide the bloody camera! My Nexus 4 looks better, seriously.
What can we say? Ppi above 300-350 is idiocy, Apple CPUs and GPUs perform well, camera is fine, 1GB of RAM is disappointing, the design is not as good as we hoped. Just cut the price, would you?
P.S. My Nexus 4 works like new. When getting an Android device, try not to get something bloated with useless stuff like Samsung. It will make the phone lag. Pure Android works like a charm.
