Goliath, 28 May 2014I forgot to say that android OS is constantly developing an... moreI'd like you to use the same statement for the first iteration of IOs but even IOS 1 OR 2 were smooth even though they were the first of their type. Android is unstable and a bit unstable because 1) it is a platform based on ad serving and it constantly collects your data for ads this I'd why there is always something running on the background slowing things down (it's like opening all your apps to get data but hinder their work running process using only for data collection) 2. Android is based on a custom Linux kernel without firewall and that Linux distro has many bugs which are still undiscovered even this day and the only easy they can fix that is buying that Linux custom distro they are using and patch it up from the root which id's what Google is trying to do but it is hard to do so since almost all Linux distros are free to use and not purchaseble and they can't just own it since they are using the argument ofAndroid is free for all 3, there are not enough resources laid by Google to make Android programming apps more higher quality
I'm using Swype to recklessly lol actually Swype is one of the few things I wish IOS had even though it's only like 85 % accurate but it can get better and is suprer useful to have as an option . Ios keyboard is super accurate but it's always great to have Swype

Goliath, 28 May 2014Well google works with the nexus devices as if they develop... moreI forgot to say that android OS is constantly developing and not fully developed like ios (yes ios is also getting developed but the basic structure of the OS is complete while android is still developing its basic structure,u know updating the system to become more stable and faster...)
And yeah am using go keyboard ,am sure it is not the problem ,it's me lol
I am typing to fast not realizing i am making mistakes along the way

Anonymous, 28 May 2014Ok why do Nexus devices have dropped frame rates and minor lag ?Well google works with the nexus devices as if they develope them or something and work with other companies such as the asus nexus and lg nexus, google knows ofcourse whats best for android to work normally thats way nexus habe less lag and problems
But alot of features come from other companies

Goliath, 28 May 2014Am not bashing on other brands such as apple What i hate i... moreI don't know dude but every Samsung device I have used has dropped frame rates and seriously lags. I haven't tried the new Galaxy S 5 yet but my cousins S4 lags my friends S3 lags another Note 3 I used I was able to see lag on one time using it. Either you are lying or I am since every person or real Android fan and tech reviewer says it lags. Samsung has the potential to do much better devices but they refuse too and stick to lowly cheap business tactics on bashing the competition, ripping them off and using what they should have used for device R&D in marketing this is why I dislike them. That being said they still are the most relevant Android OEM but I hate them hiding Google's work and trying to mask Android as Tizen and as a Samsung product. They are one of the few OEMS to include removable battery and then they go and add low quality batteries to their phones to decrease costs. I have never met a Galaxy S4 owner whose battery never had problems or didn't changed their battery. And the presumption that IOS is the best only holds true for you it's what you want your phone to have and it is best for you not for another person or me. For me the best from Android is stock or HTC SENSE if you really are into Android you should at least just try them and compare their performance to your multiple Samsung devices

But the only coz of performencs difference os the OS of the device...of u find a way go make iphone run only android OS it would lag like any OS
If u make an ios for an htc one for example you won't get any lag
I think that is the reason why samsung is developing the Tizen OS...to make an os similar to ios...an OS made only to run with specific devices
Maybe Tizen would be the game changer for samsung to making their smartphones run smoothly like iphones?

Branding only one type of consumer as a fanboy is beyong envy or insults. I think I'm pretty good at specs too but specs don't mean shit in real word performance. You do know that Apple A7 chips outperforms every gazillion core or quad core there is currently on the market especially on graphics. What you are saying is hypothetical as Snapragon 801 has no dedicated graphics or optimization for QHD. LG G3 screen is one year ahead of its time and competitors ,they should have waited for next year and used 805 which Qualcomm says is built for pushing high res picture quality

What i hate is the apple fanboys thinking iphone is the king of smartphones,clearly iphone is not the king...there is no king of smartphones but there is better than this phone or that
Also when i talked about specs k didnt want to get into detials,i am pretty good in this stuff but i meant if u benchmark these u would see which performs better
And really i don't know why you would say touchwiz lags
Personally i like it,it never lagged with me, i tried galaxy s2,s3,s4,note 2,galaxy tab 3 yet none lag even though i had widgets on them,alot of widgets
Maybe galaxy tab3 lagged a bit but only when it is overloaded with stuff.
Right now am writing this from that tab,and switching between apps normally no lagging...
about qhd battery consumption...if sammy was able to make the s5 last 70 hours with 5 inch screen (i think its 5 right?) With more than 400ppi i am sure they will find a way to make the battery last the same time at QHD ppi

You can see a difference but today's phones are great already why would you sacrifice performance,battery life,temperature for something not actually useful. It's a gimmick on phones there is no content ,heats up, diminishes battery life and performance. And adding a a more than 350 poi screen on a 4 inch phone is stupid

Ram is not an issue optimization is and Apple has nailed it down . So you are making assumptions on something that on Android doesn't exist yet ? Fanboying at its best. How Android is going to be better when Android is not even 64 bit as a system baffles me. IOS is already 64 bit and as I said thousands apps on the app store are too. Open the App store and you will see how many Apps are already 64 bit on such a short time. Call me a ifanboy for stating the truth ? Nice one. And just for curiosity I use both IOS and Android. And that is your opinion about there being better alternatives to IPhones I respect that you have your choices and use your phone for different things. Yes dude the only way I see Iphones overpriced is on storage options that's true on 100$ Mark for doubling the storage. And counting cores and big numbers as factual performance is something only a regular ignorant consumer does who buys his phone based on big numbers and not actual usability and performance. There are already Samsung octacore phones with 3 Gb of RAM which lag like he'll. Either you are blind of too much of a fanboy. There are dropped frame rates everywhere on android they are just as intrusive as before anymore and high end phones are greatly usable. Enjoy your phone whatever you have. If it's better for you it's not the best for someone else. You have the best for what you like to use your phone for not for what you like to hate and bash others on.

It's a win for us consumers to have products without major shortcomings because we should get our money's worth. 4.4 is way better than previous versions of Android but Samsung uses Touchwiz a heavily customized skin that slows down performance and they ate lazy to optimize their devices with Android. LG does a better job at optimizing devices. My friend has a S3 but it is still on 4.2 and it is usable but there is lag noticeable lag. Still the S3 is the best Samsung phone of all times period. That was the time when they pushed specs over gimmicks. I'm currently using HTC one (the old one) which is just crushing through performance and recently updated to kit Kat and I can see higher frame rates when using a custom launcher. Not a surprisingly great improvement but it's really good. Android had dropped frame rates and lag but many high end phones now have been matured enough to say that lag is not annoying .

nothing so new about the iphone 6 its almost the same as my 5s come on apple add on something that will get customers attention.........!!!!!
