Around the same time frame in 2012, the Note 2 was, and still is a much better device than the iPhone 5.
Apple's iPhone 5 from 2012, w/ it's crappy 640 x 1136 resolution and tiny 4.0 inch screen, would have been terrible at 5.5 inches (w/ 237 ppi).
In comparison, Samsung did a great job with the Note 2. Nothing on the market could touch it when it dropped.
Now Apple is playing catch up to larger displays.

Where the second sentence clearly states, "Samsung on the other hand, is the top handset supplier in the country."
Apple's sliding market share in Quarter 3 and 4 of 2013 was big news, as well as Apple TV losing money in quarter 1 of 2014.

The speed, functionality, performance and elegance of iPhone are much higher than Samsung. I hate the touch of Samsung, its not at all sensitive and specially when it stops while you are scrolling things, i feel like throwing it away.

Everything with more than 400ppi is sharp enough, you really can't see any pixels, QHD is useless too with a 5.5inch< display, we don't even have movies and streaming media in anything higher than 1080p, 4K recording is useless too, most of people don't even have UHD TV's or capable GPU's to play those files, these things are just gimmicks today

When Apple brings this crap to consumers, it will receive terrible reviews and fail horribly.
Non-techy consumers aren't as novice as they were just 2 years. So many are waking up and making the switch from iPhones already.
By late 2015/mid 2016, Apple's mobile phone division will be what Blackberry is now. Irrelevant.
