Iphone 6 plus has great battery backup. Much better than my previous iphone 5s. Playing games in this device is much enjoible than my previous iphone 5s. Easily pocketable in shirt pocket. I have put on screen protector and a case made by rock. Does not heat at all. Much better than iphone 6. U can get iphone 6 if u do not do much gaming and web browsing.

They ruined the original design and they couldn't shorten those bezels
      In one word (Ugly)

IP 6 plus can only last for 8 hours (watsapp/facebook) with all background apps refresh off.

So i do not think it can really last for 11 hours of non-stop video play back.

If the phone can last for normal usage (web browsing/watsapp/facebook) of 10 hours is miracle enough.

I have an iPhone 6 plus and its jailbroken, I installed an app to measure it's RAM. So much for 1 gig, with no open apps I can't get over 60mb of available ram.

AnonD-327781, 05 Nov 2014Is that BendGate rumor true? Yeah its true...but every phone bends...just the iPhone 6 Plus bends a lot easier (if you actually really try to bend it) honestly i'd get an android phone they seem to handle the bending tests a lot better...but at the end of the day its your choice right?

Anonymous, 04 Nov 2014even if those apps are disabled, the phone still lags. Its... moreActually you cannot disable any apps in android as it will re-appear again after quite sometime especially those apps created by Google. In this regard, ios is better in this aspect as there is no interference from the background and moving straight to the application you would like run and therefore less susceptible to having any problems. Just because there is less restrictions on android os, it is also susceptible to having viruses, malwares etc., unlike the ios which is more secure and restrictive. But we have to admit that prices of iphones are really ridiculous for less amount of technology they slapped on. For those who have deep pockets, well...who cares?

Just like a generic windows for a generic hardware, nothing compares a specific software design and a specific hardware design. All the details is covered and you do not need tons of RAM when you engineer both for a single piece of computer. Android has the same problem of windows, becomes instable, insecure, and with time you OS trend to hang out.

Its just the way android is programmed. Also google keeps it running in order to track what you are doing so that's why it's so laggy.

isis, 01 Nov 2014You're pathetic. 1Gb of RAM is a rip off for snobs :)))I think 1 gig of ram is proportional for the iphone 6 plus because when the ram is like 800-900 mb full, the device starts cleaning it and removing unused apps on the ram

The problem of android is that, there are too many running apps in background even without asking for it, thus, consuming the RAM and puts additional burden to the CPU. These resulted in lagging, hanging and crashing as the threshold or limit has been reached, leaving the hardwares struggling. This also applies to the speed of internet connectivity versus iphones. The moment you turned on your wireless connectivity, too many apps will be launched in background, like racing each other for connectivity. ios is different, if you want to launch the app, then only it is the time it will run. So, 1GB of RAM is sufficient in this case, and will run any app smoothly without any problems. But 1GB of RAM and with slower CPU, it cannot do multi-tasking unlike any other flagship smartphones can. For android phones, the rule is, the more you apps you install, no matter how much RAM or CPU speed it has, the more likely it will have problems. For future iphones, if they will copy multi-tasking features of androids, we will see significant increase in hardware specs to cope up with the demand to support that functionality.
