This forum is about smart phone cameras and their megapixels. And I seriously think a good photo quality from a smart phone is more important than the megapixels on a spec sheet. Very few smart phone photos are going to get enlarged. All others are for sharing and we want them to just look good on a ......say a 6"inch or at the max a lap top screen.
So the bottom line,
MEGA PIXELS DON'T COUNT at least in this forum

For ur favourite tasty food u may have to sacrifice calorie count and ingredients don't matter at all.
The same goes with phones. U may have to sacrifice Bluetooth ,tube mate etc. CPU, GPU really doesn't matter

Iphone doesnt need more ram or processor like samsung, its operating system ios 8 is so powerful and light resource based that it can handle all apps smoothly without freezes and crashes.
"Why need more ram, Performance!! which ios already gives to max extent on 1gb or for showing off against samsung?"
Buy iphone for class not for showoff!

even 8mp its retina display the resolution for iphone is far different in samsung i have it both i have note 3 and iphone all i can say apple is the best camera coz when i took photo without lights still nice
