Samsung really put in to their efforts producing great/beast phones. The fact that their listening and considering what to do with their phones base with people's reaction and what people want. iPhone seems to be still outdated. Make sense. You can say it's smooth performance can beat Samsung's but still it's outdated. The S7 edge doesn't really lag at all. I use it everyday.

AnonD-1825, 10 Apr 2016"but the performance of Android phones have improved faster... moreNice insight. I am looking into buying a phone myself, however i can't decide wether to get IPhone SE or an Android phone. I like the way SE is optimized but i also want to fully customize my phone ( rooting, custom rom etc. etc.), can I do any of that on IPhone SE or something akin to that?

IPhone performance have improved lot faster and yes iPhone is still performance champ. Android phones can't even beat last gen 6s in performance so after iPhone 7 the lead is even bigger.

Odder Barry, 09 Apr 2016I'm finally switching to iOS. I've only ever used Android. ... moreWhat you have written is why I still use iPhones ( well first iPhone Sept 2011 ). Too many times Android has let me down using video and sometimes photos. I was filming these sheep out of a car that had escaped and thy were jumping up in the air like on springs I found it very funny. It would have been great to show folk, anyhow the video corrupted (LG G4) in 4k mode and the video was lost. I could go on how many Samsungs,Motos have let me down at events because the microphones cannot handle the bass, corrupt videos etc. iPhones are so consistent. iPhones are still boring but when it comes down to stress free fluent consistent experience iPhones do it for me. Still have/use/mess about with Androids but when it comes to important or busy day I end up taking iPhone.
So with reluctance but piece of mind every nightclub, air display, festival events I take an iPhone because never has it missed a photo or ever dropped a frame in video or disappointed in the audio capture department. Prior to this I used Nokia for events hence my love of Nokia as they use superb aerials microphones etc.
I still say Apple is greedy although other companies have caught up but when it comes down to that moment I trust iPhone more. My 64gig Rose Gold SE due Wednesday because I prefer smaller smartphones.

chirag1996, 09 Apr 2016Is it worth to buy?Look at what features are available on other phones and make your decision.
If I were to buy a new phone today, it would be the LG G5. Available for under $600 USD.

Lucky , 10 Apr 2016Guys. I have been also using Android since ages.i used Sa... moreI started using iphones with the original and stopped with the 4s because other phones had more features and the quality of IOS was slipping. The performance of the iphones continued to improve, but the performance of Android phones have improved faster. iphone is no longer the performance champ. Best value is with Android phones and that's why Apple no longer gets my money.

Guys. I have been also using Android since ages.i used Samsung,Sony,HTC,moto n what not..but the experience I have with my iPhone 6s is not beatable to any of the Android phones. Samsung or Sony might have double Ram or double core processor but just a dual core processor of iPhone does wonders that even hexacore processors on Android can't do.. Numbers might be small for iPhone but it does wonders. Ask me if u have any questions

I'm finally switching to iOS. I've only ever used Android. Had HTC and Samsung for years (still have my M7 and S4 around) but I don't think my Android phones are holding up in the long run. My wife is still using an iPhone 4 and that thing works like a charm whereas my M7 started having camera problems a year ago and the S4 is just super slow now. I also like that iOS gets updated regularly. The iPhone 4 still gets the latest OS update whereas I'm still on Lollipop and who knows when Marshmallow will be released.
When my niece was born, my Android phones failed me because the camera wasn't working or focusing right. I had to use my wife's iPhone 4 to take pictures and they came out great. An iPhone 4! I'm not exactly thrilled about moving to a restricted and simplistic environment like Apple but I want a phone that works when it counts. Who knows, I may just get fed up and switch to the Samsung S7 or S7e within a week but I gotta say, with Apple, when it works or when you need it to work, it just works.
