According to a teardown report from research firm IHS, the components and manufacturing cost of a 16GB iPhone 6 cost Apple $200.10. The device is selling for $649 in the U.S. without a contract with a wireless carrier. That gives the device a profit margin of about 69%.

After the reoort got released all of a sudden iphone 6s popularity goes down and Note5 popularity percentage rise up in Gsmarena. Open your eyes people. Is Apple really worth the price? IHS Firm research unveil the real manufacturing price for iphone 6 is only $200.10 and sells at $649. They make 69% profit margin out of their dumb customers.

Nice phone. Sadly the memory of 16GB is far too low and the phone will keep wailing for not enough memory. 16GB is the most affordable version.

There's always this notion that specs is the standard by which devices should be measured. But yr after yr this is proven to be incorrect. If specs meant anything, then 12mp would mean 12mp. But it doesn't it still depends on whether its 5 elements or 6 elements, f2.2 aperture or f1.8 aperture, OIS or Digital Stabilization and the list goes on. When u deal with devices the interface comes first and if you don't believe me, I've got a 20mp, true octal-core, 4gb ram, 5000 mah battery, 4k display Amoled, Expandable storage, Stereo Speakers, 10mp front camera running Blackberry 7 OS.

Apple's approach to updating their devices is based on the way carriers set their contracts. Customers are tied to 2yr contracts so an iPhone 5 owner upgrades to an iPhone 6 and iPhone 5s upgrades to iPhone 6s. From the view of these individuals the devices they are upgrading to is significantly better than the one they owned previously. That whole we only give u the features u need nonsense is just that...Nonsense. They are making the most of the markets structure, nothing else

It was a good phone at the time then I bought the Samsung Galaxy S4 and thought that was much better than the 4s. I am now on the s6 and that's way way better than the iPhone 6 I had before that.Apple phone's are ok but in my opinion you are getting blinded by the Apple Logo more so than how good the phone really is.
