Donz, 20 Mar 2019Nice review. But how was the battery backup for you?Battery lasts me a day and a half since I'm not really a gamer, just casual use of social media and never ending insta scrolling lol. Batt was good enough for me, I use my iPad's fast charger so it takes only one hour to charge. :)

        I eventually upgraded from the iOS 11 to the iOS 12 and so far it's been really cool. The Apple store i got it from offered us free ios updates which will last for the next 2yrs. Cool right? So in my ends when u get iPhone from the Istore and you choose to upgrade, it's absolutely free and takes no data.

              I just sold my 3 yr old 6s this weekend and replaced it with newer Xiaomi Note 6 Pro. I super enjoyed 6s these years and it was able to take great pics. Only downside is there is still no portrait mode but I was able to get by thru numerous paid editing apps that I will miss the most! They mostly do the job! Maybe I'll go back to iOS (XS) before this year ends since I have a lot of data stored in the cloud. But I'll find out what this beautiful Xiaomi has to offer. I would have gotten 6s plus if there were any available in the secondhand market when I needed it, but found that a brand new Note 6 Pro is way cheaper and has that portrait mode effect and larger screen I'm looking for. Anyways for those planning to buy and switch to ios, 6s is the way to go. Comfortable one hand use, very light. I got the rose gold version 128GB and I never ran out of memory, in fact I was like downloading new apps every wk which I always forgot to open and when I found out I had 250 apps that most of them I never used! :D For a year before I backup online, I used to store 11k photos which took 20GB of memory. The apps took around the same GBs. 128GB is more than enough but I guess 64GB would be perfect! :) Just a few pointers to those planning to buy :)

You probably won't notice tons of difference but I can say that the performance when launching apps was improved. Other than that it has been very solid update for me with no major issues of note.

                      So please another quick question guys, my brand new iPhone 6s which I got from Apple store came with an iOS 11.4.1 version. Recently i got an update for iOS 12 version.                                 People will notice the larger and better screen, faster modem, better camera, longer battery life, and the gesture based interface that the 6s does not have. Heck, that is a lot of stuff that most people will notice.

                                    Anonymous, 09 Mar 2019Isn’t xr just larger 6s??The XR is massively upgraded over the 6s. Better, larger display. Way better SoC. Better battery life. Better camera. Faster modem. Basically everything is better in the XR. The one down side is that the XR is a heavy and large monster of a phone. IMO the 6s wins on size and weight but that is about it. Oh and on price I guess. You put a case on the XR and it is basically a small passenger vehicle that you are trying to cram into your pocket. But that is just how phones seem to be these days.
