If you are getting an iphone for the first time then in the start it will take some time to adopt, making the account and stuff. Android is a bit easy in that case, but if you want a phone that doesn`t lag, become slow, hang and last upto 5 years, then Iphone is the perfect choice. Once you get it, you wouldn`t want any other phone. I would recommend iphone 6s Plus since it has a really good battery life.

For 5 years, i was only using android phones. Nexus 4, nexus 6, LG G2. All were great phones. The amount of customization available was amazing. I rooted, flash ROMS and Kernels, you name it. But then i eventually i got tired of customizing my phone to make it work the way i wanted it to. So i decided to get myself an iPhone 6s Plus.
Some people would think im crazy for switching from an open system such as Android to a closed system like the iOS. An iPhone also got below average specsheet compared to other flagship devices across the different manufacturers, but what can i say? Specsheets aint everything. This phone is fast. EVERYTHING is smooth. I think optimization is more important than specs in terms of having an overall better performance. So if youre thinking about buying this phone, dont hesitate just because you keep on reading things such as "but it only got 2gb of ram" or "but the note 5 or s6 got a better specs".
Pros:
- overall performance is top notch. Everything runs smooth, EVERYTHING.
-multitasking(apps remains where you close them)
-screen - 1080p is enough for me. I like the more natural colors of the iphone. OLED looks a bit oversaturated for me.
-camera - "but its only 12mp, samsung got higher MP" samsung's camera is top notch, probably better than the one in the iPhone. But i prefer the overall camera interface and the more natural looking photos of the iphone (i find the Samsung's PQ a bit too sharp). The simpler, the better (at least for me as mostly do point and shoot).
-battery life is awesome. It lasts a full day of HEAVY USE.
-App store
Cons:
-charging takes a lot of time due to its lack of quick charge feature. But since i have an iPad charger with me, it cuts the charging time to half (from 3.5/ 4 hours to 2 hours)
-itunes. I HATE ITUNES
