I have an s6 and my wife has an ip6s. Both are good and I would not consider one to be better than the other although I have to admit that the iphone is probably simpler to navigate.

I go back and forth between Apple and Android phones. Apple always has the quality hardware, except the audio, which always sounds worse than other phones. I can hear when someone calls me on an Iphone, tinnier, or when I use my Iphone speaker. But better screens and execution of details all around. The camera rocks. However, I really miss the dual SIM idea of my Android, which is WAY smarter and easier. The Android NEVER slows down and lags, the Iphone always does (I think they do this to make you want a new phone every year, which I do with Iphones. I keep an Android phone for 2-3 years and it's as good when I'm done with it as when started IF you begin with enough base memory. ITunes sucks now, and their cloud systems also LOCK YOU into their plans - they control and own anything, you can't take it away easily if you leave Apple's world. Both are good, I'd say the Android system is better overall.

I think the battery life would be a bit less than on the S7 edge. But seriously, I think your phone is still "new enough" so that you don't have to change it unless you really want an iPhone

Don't judge an ecosystem, appreciate it because it is facilitating your life according to everyone of us, ok if you buy Galaxy Note, it will endure much pressure, but if you buy other Samsung models (Cheaper) they may lag I dunno because I didn't give a try
Before buying a smartphone apply Deming's Law in your situation: Do it right from the first time. that means here if you want Android Smartphone Go for Galaxy Note, if you want iphone Go for the iphone 6s or 7 (ios 9 and higher)

I have the samsung galaxy s7 edge, one of the most important things I look for is a long lasting battery, the s7 edge has a 3600mah battery and lasts 2 days (I'm a moderate user) bit lately I've been wanting to buy the iPhone 7, it looks great buy abit unsure of whether to switch as it's only got a 1960mah battery. Any opinions are much appreciated, thanks

I've had the iPhone 7 from the launch day, very happy with it battery last a day Easley, and the A10chip is outstanding, apple's iPhones just gets better every year,
