And why isn't it acceptable? Remember this is a compact phone. There are still 5.2in devices like Xperia XZ big phablets like Huawei Mate 9 at 5.9in with Full HD. The resolution is nothing innovate or something you really need some new tech to do it, it just doesn't make sense if you have a resolution which is too high, but then sacrifice your 60fps at gaming and everything else which is graphics intensive.

The 8 plus it is in the phablet area so no point in counting it to a 5 inch android phone. Anyway full hd is becoming old tech as well and I don't think it is acceptable for a flagship from 2017 to have less than QHD screen.

Just got mine today upgraded from my 6. I'm hugely disappointed I hate the feel of the home button feels like battery is loose at the back. Live wallpaper that's why I wanted it which I was wrong I mean I have to hold it for a 3 second gimic come on Apple, the only thing I've noticed is the speakers other than that I left here wondering what have I done?.

Nowadays at the same price level, android is the best. If apple continues with their inadequate innovation theyll be like blackberry in a couple of years.

I just got an iphone 7 weeks ago. Ive been with android for so long & experienced its growth. Now for the price point, android will always be better. This iphone seems inadequate conpared to its counter parts..except for 3d touch, android was did it years ago. Im giving this to my daughter...& for those who suggested getting an iphone 7 plus. At that price? Ill be getting 2 more efficient & better android units..iphone is just too inadequate, they cant keep up.

The iPhone seven is no different than the iPhone 6. The only thing that's different is the inconvenience that was added, or maybe not added?, to the phone. There is a required adapter to connect to the phone to listen to music or whatever it is with an aux. this was the most dumb idea apple could ever do, as the Bluetooth headphones they supply don't work for a lot of people including myself. It was the worst idea they could've thought of. I absolutely hate it. I have too much to remember in my life to have to remember a 2 inch adapter if I want to listen to music in my car, at the gym, or anywhere. So stupid. Apple, do better.

You can say your Android-fanboy-friend that iOS has no malware or viruses, doesn't need any tuning app because iOS does this automatically, and that even the iPhone 6s has a better processor than the Galaxy S8 will have.
