It's a random problem and occurring sometimes very rarely like once in a fifteen days or more but now it Seems like more and more iPhone 7 & plus users are complaining on the official Apple forum, I'm unable to link here but one can search and see themselves. I'm facing the same issue and waiting for the update.

Omg Apple when will u make ur device faster n add new features to ur smartphone... when?? Ur name is not even on both ranking list why??? I used an iphone7plus but it really disappointed me.. no regrets. I was hanging out with my friends n they were sending movies to each other but when I asked they said boy u got iphone we cant send u it doesn't supports.. n from that day now im using s7edge n i feel like i got what i need...

It is software optimi... moreYeah, just disagree with all benchmarks, tests and reviewers who say the iPhone 7 is the fastest phone on earth at the moment and say it is just because iPhone has to run a light restricted but therefor optimized software (which is only a small part of why iPhones are so fast)

OnePlus 2 has overheating SD810 which is normally as fast as an iPhone 6 but throttles down to iPhone 5s level. At it's highest, it gets 75k points in antutu and 1k in geekbench 3 single core and 4.5k in geekbench 3 multi core. The iPhone 7 gets 3.3k in single core (what means one of it's two power cores is just as fast as all 8 cores of OnePlus 2 together) and 5.5k in multicore (multicore isn't that important but it still kills it there) as well as having 308 and 926 MB/s write/read speed for the iPhone 7 128GB (which I have) vs OnePlus 2 having 125 and 234MB/s write/read.

hmm idk, I might get this when I get my weekend job early next year, I'm not an isheep, I've been using Android flagships for the past 3 years but somethings gone wrong in all of them despite taking excellent care of them, as a matter of fact my galaxy S6 broke a week ago according to IT support it had a faulty battery and they offered me a free repair but sent it back untouched and still broken and their customer support was awful, after seeing this iPhone 7, i'm liking the specs and performance judging by reviews, just not too keen on the screen resolution or amount of ram but the optimisation is good on IOS 10 and scores the highest of pretty much all smartphones on CPU scores so ill probably just get this

Software optimisation is much more important. And Sony Xperia XZ, LG G5, HTC 10 are much better than OnePlus. I Don't speak about Samsung. It is laggy crap.

For those Apple haters I will suggest you that you should try an Apple phone like 6s and or 7 then you will realise we spend that much money in an iPhone after buying iPhone will realise what a processor can do that an android phone can't even touch and what ram of iPhone can do that your androids can't even touch that at 15 gigs of ram and you will realise how smooth a software can be other than that laggy androids and I will tell you that I am not an android hater but I realise these things after buying iPhone 7 📱 really Apple puts magic in there mobiles which you can't fell if you don't own it it's worth every penny that they charge for there mobile

Furthermore, Full HD is not really needed on that screen size. Look, Xperia Compact series also has 720p which is just a little bit less than the iPhone 7 res at 0.1 in smaller display. Then, the amount of RAM doesn't mean much when there is good RAM management, and Apple has the best RAM management on market. But it has so many things which are better, like multiple times faster storage and 50% faster CPU than OnePlus 3. OnePlus 3 itself is comparable to iPhone SE, which is cheaper here in Germany with 16GB and just little higher price with 64GB, but then you have years of software support, of course the brand name and no china software but software which was made for the european market. So looks like you just looked at some specs in the top of the page without any background knowledge, just to bash.

For a phone that costs minimum 700€ the iPhone 7 has incredibly bad specs... not even full hd display and only 2 gb of ram... look at the OnePlus 3, it offers 2 times better features for half the price -> 4 times better price-feature ratio. Seriously Apple, go home!

Not all android phones lag. Samsung is laggy crap. But Google pixel, Sony and HTC phones are very smooth. And more ram don't mean better. Software optimisation is important as well. This is where Sony shines.
