More core not must mean more speed
Apple dual core on the iPhone 6s as fast as snapdragon 820 quad core , what's supposed ( in its turn ) to be fast as exynos octa core on galaxy S7 ..
Processor is not just a core number it is technology that the processor is based and built on
There is another fact that if two smartphones using the same chip and the same Processor with even the same clock speed and the same amount of ram .. that's not mean that both of smartphones will perform as the same .. it's how all hardware Pratts work and compatible to each other .. and how the software using this parts ..
Apple IOS is smart enough to sqweez performnce from cpu and ram ... so what if it work and very fast cpu and gpu ..
IPhone ( as always ) simply is one of fastest ( if not the fastest ) smartphone ..
