I wanted to purchase this device
But upon looking at its specs the only alternative is it's successor the iPhone 7 plus
I dislike the 4.7" screen
Other than that it's not bad
Only concerns are:
Battery capacity.
Future support for IOS 15 and above
And it's price is around 150 for a 32gb variant which is quite amusing

I have a iPhone X since December 2017 and right now he has 78% of battery capacity.
Right now, I don’t use my iPhone very much (I don’t play games anymore, I have deleted some social networks, I take less photos than before, i don’t make videos anymore also, I don’t save music in the phone , etc).
I used to have 40GB storage of 64 and right now I only have 20GB storage of 64Gb.
I was thinking buying a new iPhone 7 jet black 32GB to fulfill my daily user. It’s small, light and it’s cheap.
I now its a downgrade from the X (no oled, no Face ID, no wireless charging, no telephoto, 2gb of ram instead of 3gb, no more updates in 1 or 2 years, etc) but I think it will be enough for me.
My question is: do you guys have already done a downgrade of an iPhone to another iPhone because some reason? And why?

Anonymous, 31 Jan 2021first thing first, I've never used an iphone and i... moreif you want to change the battery in the future, a cracked front glass will mean that when removing it, it will shatter completely.
If you don't plan on changing it, that's not a worry. Just hope that the battery is actually fine and doesn't shut off randomly.
Also, the iPhone 7 can have the audio IC issue which will render it useless over time.
The iPhone SE (like the 5s and 5) can have an expanded battery which is visible by the front glass taking off.
I have a 7 and know people with an SE and we all have good experiences. Buying used can be a gamble but if you know what to look out for and use safe paying methods, you can get a good deal.

Ip se just an ip5s with updated chip & camera.. the rest shared the same component as 5s

Battery wise i will say still good depending on your usage. If some calls, social media, etc it should last a day. Depending on yr current battery condition I will advise go for it as I have one and still fully satisfied. Sill feel very premium and good size.

Its mid sized 4.7 inches screen, sleek and slim design lets u operate the phone easily by one hand. Try to look for a phone without any damages, having 128 GB storage.

first thing first, I've never used an iphone and i'm perfectly happy with my honor 8. But I'm thinking about buying a secondhand iphone to play with lately, or to use as a backup phone (might sound a bit stupid since backup phone most of the time is the phone u own before buying a new one).
Anyways, i'v got i7 and se on the list. I found a 128g i7 online with a upper left front corner chipped off that is about the same price as a perfectly fine 64g se. Which one should I take? I dont plan to have the chipped off i7 fixed coz I checked the price, it's just not worth it. But I would guess it'll still have more ios updates in the future. As to the se, I think it's super cute for the size and all, but I guess ios14 is the last update for it. What do u guys think? Which one would u choose? Thanks

Well, this is not an opinion but just want to know if the iPhone 7 will last a day if I only use it to call, 1hr of social media, 5-10 mins of camera usage, and some lightweight games for an hour?

Still looks nice and seriously I still use it for daily driver. Compared to se2020 looks wise is same. But i prefer aluminum back more durable...no more aluminum back. Overall very good phone even in 2021. Camera all good. Only downside is it take quite long to charge. Otherwise prefecto in size also

2019 i bought secondhand iPhone 5s & iPhone 6 & 7.....still good and always updated as per iPhone latest IOS update..... before i have always problem the battery but now everything is ok because i found how to save battery in my iPhone ^_^
