Regardless to hardware Apple uses iOS ... moreUNIX is free, are you even serious, a large number of UNIX based OS aren't free Mac OSX, SINIX, RISC iX, IRIX, Solaris, QNX are UNIX based OS too and none of them are free. Only Linux based OS which is technically a UNIX based OS with monolithic kernel is free, Android uses the monolithic Linux kernel, while iOS uses match kernel which is a proprietary hybrid kernel. Android isn't even true UNIX as it runs a Java based virtual machine on Linux kernel to run apps, it isn't true to its Linux and UNIX roots, the developers of Android OS essentially destroyed the advantages of Linux kernel by running a Java based virtual machine on it, instead of relying on the virtual machine if Android would've used true Linux runtime and code then it would've been as fast and lightweight as iOS. Mobile operating systems like iOS, Sailfish OS, Ubuntu Touch, Tizen are way more true to their UNIX roots than Android.

A good 12MP camera can outperform a bad 15MP camera. I think 12MP resolution is good enough, even Samsung jumped on the 12MP train :D And I think change to USB C would be a little too fast, first the people have to accept the end of the headphone jack, then they will be able to accept the end of Lightning

Bassically an adreno 530 or mali t880 can run gta 5 at least on low-medium settings if the game is optimised. Iphone and android chips are too powerfull nowadays ,only that there aren't used at fulll potential.it doesn't matter if a phone is slighter powerfull than others if most top end smartphones can handle all games if well optimised

              Dear, Apple I'm your big fan. I hope upcoming 7s will have 2k screen resulting + fully waterproof + 2500mah battery with 80hr. Endurance rating+ 15 mp camera+ more slw motion feature ( more than 240fps)+ super amoled screen + fast and wireless charge support + usb type c + at list 70% screen body ratio + all 7 features----than my I phone will be the perfect phone.

                something near each other beside iphone i think its no good for a gaming taste.

                    Mobile games are heavily compressed in order to run on most mobile phones, if a mobile game ever reaches the full potential of a dated snapdragon 801 device for example, it would just look like a console game.

                    Don't underestimate the power of a nowadays mobile phone.

                      Well, I've been hearing the "buzz" about the new SteveJobian mobile device and thought I could ask my favorite cellphone site if I could get some "wow" to push me to buy my first iDevice...turns out I'm still gonna have to stick with Googletopia...even the iPhone 6/6S turned out better...urrgghh!!

                        Dont know what numbers you have been watching but last q most sold smartphone in the world was 6s 14 million units, second best selling phone iPhone 8,3 million and third galaxy s7 edge 8,2 million.

                        Are you calling that dominating market when Samsung cant even outsold two years old iPhone 6. Samsung is dominant because they sell cheap lowend phones mostly.

                        By the way this came today.

                        From T-Mobile on Tuesday morning:

                        iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are a home run at T-Mobile. Pre-orders for Apple’s latest have already shattered sales records in the first four days – up more than 4x over the smash-hit iPhone 6. And Friday set a single day sales record for any smartphone ever in T-Mobile US history.
                        And from Sprint:

                        Pre-orders of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus at Sprint are up more than 375 percent in the first three days over last year.

                        Since Sprint began accepting pre-orders on Sept. 9, new and existing customers have been placing orders for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus at a rate nearly four times greater than this time last year.

                                Here's how I see it. Regardless to hardware Apple uses iOS a Unix based kernel. Android uses a Unix based kernel. Unix is free, Android is free. iOS is NOT free... Apple been has been ripping the world off for years. So making their customers use their products, charging for free software, bendable and crap battery life... and you fan boys love it. Android companies dare to venture out and explore new options.

                                Seems like the iPhone is steady playing catch up these days and apples declining sales speaks volumes. So say what you want about either phone maker... numbers don't lie and it's clear to see samsung is doing numbers and dominating the market.

                                        But unfortunately, on mobile, causal game rules.

                                        But no point comparing game smoothness on Android vs iPhone. If the Android is not a flagship, its no where near its performance.
