iPhone 7 is the best iPod phone money you can buy for few bucks in 2024. Just download audio streaming apps and do some light browsing.
If you were sticking to iPhone 6s for that usage let me tell you Bluetooth earpieces are much better than 3.m jacks.
And if you still need to feel Apple’s core audio Dax, get yourself a type C earpiece.
iPhone 7 destroys iPhone 6 and 5s as iPod device for a 30 dollars phone.
iPhone 8 will take that seat by 2026

I bought it in like july of 2024. It is my first iPhone. Switched from a phone which is as old as an iPhone 7 (lenovo k6 note), so I am used to having an older phone. I have a 32 GB one, and I dont understand people that say that it lags a lot, especially on the newer updates. Mine runs pretty smooth. I mean, it could have more RAM, but its a phone from 2016 after all. I love the fact how it still got support, but I think if it runs good on iOS 15.8.3, then it would probably handle iOS 16. Sadly the updates for iOS 15 will probably end soon, so that might be it for this phone then. But I think it will be supported by atleast the most of apps that I need, so that might not be a problem for me. I love the fact that it supports VoLTE, because my previous phone did not support it (luckilly they are not shutting down 2G and 3G in my carrier)

samsung is good, 10 Aug 2024no jack :(That is the first iPhone not to have a headphone jack. The previous iPhone was the last phone to have it.

But other things like camera, performance, OS longevity (IPhone 7 was supported till the end of 2023 as I remember, holy moly - 7 years) and build quality are excellent. (For me)

Yeah i guess so, probably because expensive cost in manufacturing the color. I remember in my local mall around 7-8 years ago when iPhone 7 came out, The jet black were not recommended too much by the Apple employees mostly. (Sorry if there's a mistake my english is bad)

I Haven't used it long enough to know what the battery life is like but I'm so excited cus it's my first ever IPhone. Been rocking the and Honor 8s since 2019.

I have this phone and the battery is soooo bad it lasts only 4 hours of normal use and I charge it 4-5 times in a day but the performance is nice. My uncle gave me this phone but he used it since 2017. he gave it to me in 2023 and it was working OK until April this year when I charged it and 3 hours later it went to 1% battery. I think it's the battery's fault because it's health decreased to 67%.
CONCLUSION:
This phone is very nice but my iPhone 7's battery is old.
