You're talking about two completely different operating systems. Samsung’s Touchwiz based on the Android 6 version of Android offers more customization options than Apple iOS. Touchwiz is probably the best ROM for Android. I like Touchwiz (Android) because it's well designed and functional, The iOS has lacked functionality. Android with Samsung's Touchwiz skin overlying the OS is very heavy and not to mention that the phone is also pushing a 2K screen with a retarded high DPI. Takes a lot of processing power to do all that
Apple, better mobile OS.. thats... IT. Everything about the S7 beats the rest hands down...
S7 - Best display, Best camera (Dual Pixels camera - A first in the smartphone world), Best battery life, Powerful Game Launcher and new Vulkan API. microSD or dual SIM model, Fast wireless charging, Water-resistant (IP68 rating). Also the ram speed is considerably lower than on s6 and s7. The gpu may be better than on s7 but is kinda useless on a 750p screen.Tbh i never understood apple going on best gpus with that rezolution instead of ram and processor.An adreno 330 can still run smooth all games on a 1440p screen.The camera is worse than on galaxy s7. Worse aperture ,worse senzor size also lower pixel size...maybe the zoom will be better but this is only on Iphone 7 plus.The screen is not impressive at all s6 and s7 screens are way better...The battery still very low, probably will lasts less than a s6 not to speak about s7 or s7 edge which have a monster battery.it s also certified ip67 which means is only water ezistant not water proof like s7/s7 edge.In the audio systems departement we will ses if it's better than s6/s7 or not. So the new iphone it seems to be a little better than a 1 year and half galaxy s6 and still worse enough than the samsung galaxy s7/s7edge

I'm also disappointed with apple.To be honest I was expecting a slightly bigger screen (4.9 or 5.0 inch), different design (this is more like facelift). And the headphones adapter? no
Nice phone, nice everything but still, I'll keep my Iphone 6 i'm not going to upgrade yet.

I've bought an 5s for some days ago - and it's the most expensive rattle I could get ... with a loose power button and stuff rattling inside. Using it because of iOS which is great. But the both the Nokia 830 and LG G3 I've used before were of better build quality.

Megapixels and amount of RAM are the most unimportant things on a phone. The camera is good or why do you think Samsung went back from 16MP on S6 to 12MP on S7?? Bigger pixels for better images is the key here. And the RAM is LPDDR4 1866MHz which is on par with the new Note7. If 2 or 4 GB, that doesn't care if the phone has a good RAM management (unlike Samsung loosing with the Note7 against the 1 year old iPhone 6s in this department)
