Were you happy with iOS? Then get an iPhone 7 and save the hassle of switching to a completely different OS.
Were you not happy with iOS? Then try a Samsung of a friend or in a store and decide if it feels better to you.
Price-to-performance-wise, the S9 wins, but that's no use if you don't like the OS because then you also won't like the whole phone.

I have an iPhone SE and I want a new phone. Which should I pick? Galaxy S9 or iPhone 7? I know their pros & cons but I cannot choose. Which would you buy, and why?

Anonymous , 15 Aug 2018So let me get this straight..all of a sudden the pride of f... moreI talk about real life experience and even a paltry iPhone 6 with new battery can give you a satisfying user experience, if you want the latest and get the most of the hardware then buy a new Android phone with the latest Snapdragon with the highest GHz, lots of cores and massive RAM memory amount, i don't see it as bad at all but some users just don't care about those features and just want a phone that works, don't care much about the hardware and the iPhone fits in that profile.

pay top dollar for an outdated device with less features n specs only to get 5years of updates n services only if u keep changing ur battery more frequently than u reset ur device..nice..n in 5years..let me know how smooth r the heavy workload apps/games doing for ur 5year old iphones interms of compatibility..given the rapid app development of new techs based on VR requiring more cpu efficiency n resources.

Anonymous , 14 Aug 2018Any global brand offers total satisfactory post sale servic... moreThe only android device with more than 2 years of major update are the Pixels, the rest are stuck on 2 years of major OS updates, not 3 years, my S7 Edge will be stuck on Oreo which is not bad, but my iPhone 7 will get probably 3 more major iOS updates. I don't think any flagship devices from 2016 will get Android P except the first Pixel phones.
About the post sale, well the LG i had was nothing but trouble, Samsung service is ok and Huawei customer service is like talking to the wall... i just found Apple service pretty good in my experience. And about the downclocking, i just will stick to real world experience and after replacing the iPhone 6 battery of my friend, the phone is just as fast as new unlike the HTC M9 he owns... almost unusable.
I used to criticize very much to Apple in the past but since i had the iPhone SE to the 6 and now with the 7, those phones are expensive as hell but totally worth in my opinion.

And 5years? Seriously? Everyone is aware apple clocking down their previous gens after new release to 600mhz..so in a year its slow as 100$ Chinese device unless u keep changing battery every now n then. Apple users paid top dollar coz they like it fast..why woud they compromise speed n lagfree #tags for 5years?
Cool..i see the advantages
Btw normally android flagships(as comparing price range wd apple)get 3years os updates unless its pixel or droid1 they get more i guess..and beyond that there r security patches every quarter..n believe me or not my device has gotten more n more fast n better since android 6 through 7 to 8.so again..not everything is specific to apple.its the norm more or less followed for enhancing the device..not downclocking its performance

Drains battery fast, future updates and advance options are useless when your battery on last for 12 hrs on a regular use. think about that. dont waste your money here. i am cell tech. i recommend other brand rather than this.

hi guys i need help please.
i just upgraded my iphone 6 to iphone 7. but in last two days, im experiencing my iphone 7 drained battery so quick, about 40-50% during sleep..
I never experience this problem on my iphone 6.
how to fix this?? plss
note:
- i turned on wifi with good signal, and activate DND during night.
- battery life 88%

Lamar, 11 Aug 2018Hw will I identity a fake iPhone 7 from the real one?If you can try the iphone, you should check the 3D touch, apply some force by touching on any app and a menu will appear, the fake one will do nothing. Also try to enter iTunes, most likely will be music player only and the options to buy media won't be anywhere in the app. You can check the screws in the lower part near the Lightning port, if the device is legit, you should see 5 lobes screws instead of the ordinary screws of 4 lobes.

More ram for better multi tasking. See wat u had to compromise for paying so much?
On contrary android offers u more for money.

It was my first time using ios, and my first time using iphone 7. I bought a second hand phone, but it was still brand new, the battery health is also 100%. The phone is fast, but the phone sometimes got stuck when I opened and zoomed in a not-fully-loaded-photo on Safari. It happened more frequent when I opened my second whatsapp application (I installed 2 whatsapp on my phone) and it was not legal. I did not know if it was the application problem or the phones problem. Moreover, some of my friend also said the iphone 7 got a little slower since their recent ios updates. The battery of iphone 7 is also legendarily-low. In a day, the occasional usage (no games, just use my phone to chat) will need to charge twice. I had discussed this with my friend who is using an iphone too, he said it was perfectly normal for apple. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the phone, it has a great camera, performance, but not the battery life.

I used to do that on my previous iPhone 6S 32GB.
