It will likely support apps for another 12 months but as newer revisions of apps are released that depend on iOS 16 features then you will not be able to upgrade the apps and certain titles might even be rescinded and no longer available

Had this phone for 5 or so years and battery life is ATROCIOUS! Just browsing would use up so much battery that I'd have to charge it twice a day. New phone, iPhone 12 Pro Max has a much better battery life and can last a day even with heavy usage and browsing.

The fact that the iPhone 7 is gonna be stuck on ios 15 the same as the 6s is basically Apple trying to say they're the same phone
There's a year difference between them and yet no difference in software updates making the 7 redundant and barely even an upgrade over the 6s

My third iPhone to use from an iPhone 6s. I’m a gamer and found this phone not to be a good gaming device. Used to heat up. But the battery life was much better compared to the 6s. Later switched to an SE 2020.
