I guess you were totally unlucky. I got my phone dropped inside the commode flush in the washroom and it submerged inside the commode flush water for around 30 seconds or more as I didn't know that it had dropped from my pocket. I picket the phone, opened the tap water and washed it. Thanks to Almighty that water didn't damage the phone. I bought it last November.
Unfortunately water damages are not covered in warranty.

It is mentioned to be water resistant for 1 meter under water and 30 minutes , it only rained over my phone , and it is totally damaged , at the maintenance they said that liquid damage is not covered by warranty, the phone didn't complete 1 year yet.
What kind of device or provider is this!

I love i phone 7 plus its amazing in sound camera qualiyy nd no prblm of hanging like android as i was using s7 edge samsung after 1 yr battry become dull its draing nd i phione standby mode is too gud i suggest 7plus like dslr camera

i have onequestion m using 7 plus from past one year but after update with ios 11 my whatsapp and rest all apps give me issue like my whatsapp on background not update my messages and also after screen lock and then to unlock it again show some issues
