ios or android it doesn't matter as long as you suit better with the phone. One who has big pocket then should go for high end phone.. every phone have their own advantages and disadvantages.. so buy a phone that suit you and your pocket as well. peace

Anonymous, 12 Dec 2016When you talk about backup, you can also save it to iCloud ... moreI'm no stranger to cloud backups. I still have to sync my independent 60GB of music, or some staple movies & tv shows that I never upload to cloud. Oh, that 256GB version is a savior. This should be good for the the next 2-3 years.

Anyway, since it comes in black now, is second best in camera, it has very fast interface, and it's the 256GB option that's what's really making me get it. It'll probably in the next 4 days that I'm getting my unit. I never thought I would be getting an iPhone two weeks ago, and excited to getting it. At least I will not be so often syncing with iTunes.

NforTheNeighbor, 10 Dec 2016Yes, I've been a fan of the Galaxy Note series since 2011. ... moreI agree with you. But the hardware 2 years ago in iPhone 6 times wasn't shit, it was ok. But with the iPhone 6s with NVMe and beast A9 processor, Apple nailed it and got back up to speed champ. iPhone 7 builds up on this and goes even further with greater battery life and everything being just a little better than on the predecessor enlarging the advance of it.

Hermes1, 10 Dec 2016I know you. That hardcore Galaxy Note fan. Lol. Switching t... moreYes, I've been a fan of the Galaxy Note series since 2011. Look how it influenced Apple to come up with bigger screens. I've bashed the Note.5 for Samsung trying to make it like an iPhone with only limited internal memory. I got the 64 GB Note7 for 45 days until I returned it due to recall.
Now that Netflix has download functions and only limited to internal memory saving, is the ideal choice.
After hearing that the 2900mAh of the 7 Plus gives out great battery time, and some 230 GB+ as scratch space, I'm sold. And it comes in matte black. Yeah, it's ironic, but iPhone had $#!t hardware 2 years ago. Of course I'm expecting disappointments in transferring files easily, and it doesn't have AMOLED screen.
I'm skipping the Note8, and have Samsung resolve whatever battery issue - they were too ambitious to a point whereby they've made a huge mistake in stuffing too much battery in a tight space. I want a 256 GB phone right now.

After hearing that Samsung is still with the curved glass design for next year, and Apple is going for the same curved display, I'm at last getting an iPhone. I believe I've used the Galaxy note series, until the Note.5 terrible 32GB capacity in most markets and the Note7's explosive flaw. Enough is enough.
Since Apple is offering a 256GB, and how battery efficiency is great, I'm getting that. After Netflix has opened the download function ONLY for the internal memory, 256GB is a great lot of space for me to play with. I'm getting my unit by next week.

I've had quite a few smart phones, going back to the days before the iPhone or Android devives even existed when Blackberry PDA's were the go to device, and this is the best device I've ever used.
Battery life? Incredible. Yesterday I had 5h0m of SoT at 51% or so. You can comfortably get 8 hours of SoT from this beast, potentially even breaking 10 hours.
Performance? Like butter. I've never seen a mobile device work with such fluidity and speed. Loading up web pages? You don't get that intermittent freezing while the device attempts to cache the web page. Scrolling through apps is buttery smooth. Gaming performance is apparently out of this world. In any benchmark I've seen, nothing even comes close to rivaling these devices. Right now, the A10 processor is really in a league of its own.
