But mostly people having iphone 6s or 7 will feel its not worth to upgrade. if someone is coming from Android and want to test iOS they may prefer iPhone 7 or if they are sure they want to switch completely then iPhone 8 may be the one for them as they will get software support for next 5 years.

I got £200 which I had for 7 months looks similar to the iphone 8 has headphone jack fast charging no bump but very good camera.

Did you enable Backgroudn App Refresh?
I sometimes notice the wifi disconnected when the phone is sleep, but notification for all apps are working fine.

Anonymous, 01 Nov 2017Hi i switched from android and bought the iphone 8.It s a g... moreyou will have same problem if you use google photos you have to have app open all time for it to upload,,apple has a 5 minute time limit before apps go to sleep but my notifications come through and have not seen wifi disconnect like you have.
iOS 11.1 using iPhone 7.

Hi i switched from android and bought the iphone 8.It s a great phone but i have a small and frustating little problem.When i have wifi connected and the phone is locked the wifi disconnects.Thatmeans that i cant have notifications of mail whats up messanger etc.Then when i use my phone the notifications will enter becauseafter 5 seconds that i unlock my phone the wifi will re connect.I took it to a technition and told me that it is not a bug but a feature from apple to preserve battery.He told me that the phone when locked after30seconds will be put in deep sleep mode automatically and that it cannot be changed.Notifications are an important part of a phone these days and its frustating that when a phone is locked the wifi will disconnect and then re connect only when i use the phone.Does anyone who owns the iphone 8 have the same problem?

I wonder when will Apple think of placing bigger batteries like 2000 mAh+ for the regular phones and 3000 mAh+ for the Plus models. No matter how much optimization you do, battery life is still mediocre because optimization can only do so much, and there is no substitute for a bigger battery.

We see... moreSammy is too far behind on high end phones to catch up with iphone in a single launch, i had top of the line Sams myself and they get better only when one starts to REMOVE features. But What will sam do with their X? Add more half baked features noone need or want to use once again?
Sales: Stick to high end devices, dont mix sammys low end devices into the equation, apple is the undisputed no1 in high end for good reasons.
