even if that A11 uses a 2+4 configuration. one Monsoon core eats without salt the Mongoose M2, not to mention Kryo 280. apple is slowly joining the Octa-core family. it just does it step by step. Imagine this. what if the A10 was octa core while A9 was dual? the difference was WAY too huge for iPhone lovers. going dual ->Quad ->Hexa ->Octa is much more reasonable.
2 GB ram for an iPhone is as efficient as 6-8 GB ram in Android. and sometimes even more.
IP67 is certainly enough. there's a quite tiny difference between x7 and x8. which is seal level. x8 us tight seal while x7 is a few nanometer specks can enter.
326 PPI is quite decent if you'll ask me. why would you need 800+ PPI density when the human eye stops sensing any difference at 600?
I must mention though. I am an android and iOS lover. I'd prefer android for it's openness. with iOS's perfect preformance and optimisation. if that was unite. it'd be every techie girl's dream!

Apple still has a lot of haters I see in the comments. I like both Android and iOS. In this year alone I have tried a lot of phones and returned them within the 30 day period. I've tried Xperia XZ, XZ Compact, Galaxy S7 and S8, HTC U11 and LG G6. Now I have the iPhone 8 and I know I'm definitely gonna keep this one. Sometimes you use a phone and you know in a couple of minutes that it's 'the one'. Not a single Android flagship can compete with iPhone's speed. Even the 6s Plus from 2015 beats the 2017 Snapdragon 835 in the U11 and S8 speed wise. The A11 processor in the iPhone 8 is a of course a more powerful beast. Apple is the only phone that gives me a feeling that I'm using a real premium phone. The camera, battery life and speaker loudness and sound quality are fantastic in this phone and iOS looks beautiful imo. This phone will receive new updates immediately, while with Android flagships you maybe pay a little less for the phone, but you get updates months later and only receive two major Android updates and after that no more. iPhones receive new iOS updates even 5 or 6 years after the phone was released. Also the resale value of iPhones is sometimes 2 to 3 times higher than Android phones. The haters kan keep talking about the specs of the battery, display etc. In my opinion Apple makes the best flagship phones.

I have used iOS and didn't like it as much and it's not a value for money proposal but that just me.

Hey guys... I have been an android user since ever. But just for a change gonna try out apple now and I'm planning for iPhone 8 as my hands as small and I want a smaller phone to handle.
All I want to know is, is it a good phone as a first timer or should I stick to androids? I've no intention in buying iPhone X.

Arriving a tad later than the other two, the iPhone X has been certified by TENAA, which lists its battery and RAM capacities – numbers that Apple rarely talks about. There are some good news and some bad news, neither particularly unexpected.
First the good: the X has a slightly bigger battery than the 8 Plus. It’s not a huge difference, but keep in mind that the X is more compact than the Plus model. We’re about to see if the AMOLED screen is more power efficient than the LCD.

4.7 in screen - so you bought your child at least an iPhone 6? Why did you buy your child an iPhone if you don't like them? Did you want to make fun of it? I think the iPhone 8 size is the maximum, it shouldn't be much bigger. I don't know why those "men" always need a tablet in their pocket. Some bird said it would be to make up for something small in the area next to that huge pocket
2 GB memory - In case you didn't know, it is available in 64 and 256GB
12 MP camera - like Galaxy S8, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, Huawei P9, Xiaomi Mi 6 and the list goes on. Camera resolution has nothing to say about quality, it's a fact
And yeah, all that for $ 700. After price degreased to $ 550 (christmas), not that bad of a deal, isn't it?
