It's just perfect for me size-wise, and this is not a 55inch TV, you don't need 4K on it. That resolution is enough for this particular screen size, trust me.

Really? Barely 2 Gigabytes of RAM? Only hexacore? IP67? Still no card slot? Tiny screen with horrible resolution? Everything so far is terrible. The specifications of this phone cannot even compare with cell phones like Sony Xperia XZ Premium or Samsung Galaxy S8.

Strange phone is already on sale and on GSM arena is no information about battery,
But as we all could expect endurance will be bad as usualy and for heavy gamer it will be drained from 100% to zero in less than a hour even a brand new.

The iPhone 8, however, survives through all of this, which isn't a surprise since last year's iPhone 7 did well, too. There are some things to note from this video

The glass front and back are about as scratch-resistant as the front glass on the iPhone 7 so Apple's "most durable glass ever on a smartphone" claim will likely be regarding the impact resistance rather than scratch-resistance.

The sapphire lens cover for the rear camera is not 100% pure sapphire and is about as scratch resistant as the glass used elsewhere on the phone, which is to say it's good but not as good as pure sapphire would be.

The phone uses improved ingress protection around the sides that does not pop when the phone bends, an issue that was present on the previous model.

The phone itself does not bend much at all, a far cry from when this design was first introduced with the original iPhone 6 that bent like a bar of chocolate on a hot day.

Everything you touch is either glass or metal, including the buttons on the side.

While not mentioned in this video, the glass back has been reported to be a lot grippier than the smooth metal surface of previous iPhones, which means it is lot less likely to slip out of your hands in the first place so you don't end up testing Apple's durability claims first hand.

The pixels recover from flame, which should be good news if you frequently find yourself using your phone while being engulfed in fire. (Why is this a test, again?)

Overall, the iPhone 8 does well in durability test. Real world scenarios will likely be less harsh so if a phone can survive this it will likely survive in the real world. But if you are paranoid Apple will be happy to charge you $39-$49 more for a case.

In fact, it is very disappointed that it don't have a 4.7" for X version.

If you only look at the specs without knowing that it's an Apple, you would think it's a budget phone. For example the Moto E4 US$129 iPhone 8 US$699. Display 720p V 750p.
Battery 2,800mAh V 1821mAh. Both have IP67 rating and 2GB RAM, Moto E4 has a larger display, and of course the Moto E4 has a 3.5mm head jack. The most impressive statistic here is that the Apple costs more than 5 times the Moto E4!!!!!!!

NoahS, 22 Sep 2017I have my $150 android with a 5.5" screen and 12mp camera. ... moreThe screen size has nothing to say about a phone. Your cheap $ 150 screen is probably one of the cheapest ones available, as well as the Mediatek MT6750 or whatever tiny processor it got inside. I'm sure your 12MP cam has no optical image stabilization, f/1.7 aperture, optimized ISP and image processing, 4K@60fps, slow motion, quad LED true Tone Flash, ...
Apple is saving both your face information as well as your fingerprint on a dedicated, encoded security enclave that even Apple can't decode because it uses a random algorithm that nobody has access to.
So I buy what works for me, I buy iPhones. My € 280 Xperia M4 Aqua had dozens of problems and slowdowns after 1 year so that I had to switch back to my iPhone 5 (which was only worth € 120). They pay out in the long term, but android people will never know because they buy a new phone every year and convince themselves to have bought a bargain by reading the spec sheet and saying a manner like "my phone has 8 cores, it is faster than $ 700 iPhone 8, my phone has 16MP, it makes better pictures than $ 700 iPhone 8, my phone has 1080p screen, it is sharper then $ 700 iPhone 8, my phone has 4GB RAM, it is... wait, what is RAM for? Oh I don't care. My phone has 4GB RAM, it is better than $ 700 iPhone 8. My phone has headphone jack, it is more functional then $ 700 iPhone 8. My phone has 2% smaller bezels, it is prettier then $ 700 iPhone 8"

And you know that I just simulated a non-expert who just reads Infos without knowing what they actually mean or what is more important about specs and what is less important.

I have used both android and iphones, and i have to admit that iPhone is iPhone. There is no way android can beat iPhone when it comes to performance and build quality, and that's what i believe people pay for. All android phones are cheap looking handsets.
On the other hand, android phones is lot more flexible than iPhone. you can customize, install third party apps, and so on, and that's what is wonderful about android phones. like it!
If you have ENOUGH money, you will buy iPhone. I don't have enough, so i buy android.
