Dan, 19 Feb 2018For anyone choosing between this phone and the Razer or Gal... moreGSMA just mentioned in their review that S8/Note8 trumps i8/i8+ in screen, camera, battery and design department and i8's fluidity as the only advantage it has against S8/Note8. i8's are splash resistant and can survive for max 30mins until 1 meter depth and s8/n8 are IP68, means even better protection than i8's, this was said by the same channel, Everything Apple in his comparison of i7+ & i8+. My S7's battery outlasts my 6s's battery easily, even with the so called optimised OS...

Bear in mind that the Razer phone is Android whilst the 8+ is IOS so two very different operating systems. Your decision should also factor that in and I really can't help you there. I personally have a Samsung s8 which I am extremely happy with and my wife has an Ip8 which she is also extremely happy with so you really need to play around with them both and see which one you are attracted to.

Dan, 19 Feb 2018For anyone choosing between this phone and the Razer or Gal... moreCamera worse than note 8, do u know that Android version jelly bean 4.1.2 can be still supported by a lot of apps , Android 5.0 which came out in 2014 will be supported till 2020 but iOS maximum only supported 2 yrs like only running on iOS 9 can use , people cannot be staying on old firmware. BTW headphones need to be charged unless u buy stupid dongle, normal earphones can be use anytime and is cheap , but airpods is too portable and will lose easily. Lastly the resolution on ip8 is so poor only 1080p... Although Samsung do only give latest update for 2. To 3 yrs but it will still give security patches update frequently. BS, Google assistant is way better than siri coz u need to pay money for iTunes to play a song.

You'll get over 6 years of updates.
The battery life is way better than both. Don't let the specs fool you, iOS does wonders with even that little battery. The optimization is awesome.
The CPU is OVERKILL, way faster than even the new Snapdragon 845. (Just wait for A12 ;) )
Camera is awesome. No complaints
No headphone jack? If you can spend £800, you can spend £100 more for wireless headset, be it Airpods or Beats or whatever.
The iPhone is more water-resistant than the Galaxies 2 years in a row. Watch EverythingApplePro's deep water test.

I just want to know what is best phone this days except for iphone x that i can't afford.
Actually I am iphone 5s user until now and i am really pissed off about the battery when i upgraded the IOS.
