        Now proven!
        It has been proved that the culprit is ios 11 and later till date.
        As per Apple support’s advice I restored my device(7+) to ios 11.1 with fresh and reserved copy of downloaded IPSW FIRMWARE on itunes.
        There is no improvement in battery performance, it’s still draining abruptly as earlier with ios 11 versions.
        Hey Apple! Now what?

                wut, 09 Nov 2017lol no?!It was not with updates to ios 10(10.3.3). No such issues......ios 10 has proved the best iOS version so far. Even no such laxity was witnessed with any iOS versions prior to iOS 10.
                But ios 11 has really ruined iPhones.....the worst ever version of iOS by Apple inc. so far.....the biggest failure of Apple in history. Mind it!

                        i waited for the SONY experia xz premium! I was on board with a two-line handset. I was drooling for 960fps slow-mo! im a video production company - 4k hdr screen? you betcha!!
                        got an 8+ today. gently used ( c'mon - I'm 56 years old - I know how treat my tools! ) experia xz for sale. I HATE ANDROID!!!!! No google, this grocery store IS NOT a photo opportunity! Android sucks!!!

                          wut, 09 Nov 2017lol no?!Why no? I am having iPhone 7 Plus purchased in September this year with ios 10.3.3 as soon as I upgraded to iOS 11 I am facing several serious issues viz Battery draining abnormally and drastically, wifi connectivity issues, phone went slow down, iBooks hanging up, auto-lock not working for the time checked for(3 mins when 5 mins checked, 1 min when 3 mins checked in Display n Brightness of settings app), heating excessively, overall my device gets ruined with ios 11 or later.
                          Though it was doing excellent with ios 10.3.3 or former. Before this I had 6 plus for 2.5 years that too faced those woes with bloody ios 11 but excellent with ios 10.3.3 or former.
                          To sum up I must conclude ios 11 is only the culprit. Apple has failed to fix it.
