Good opinion, I second it. But Apple is smart, they will make half of the US people to buy iphone X through carrier plans and tricks.

I was really disappointed seeing the specs of iphone 8
We were expecting as per the nam says 8 to have
8 GB RAM,
8 MP Back camera,
Octa Core processor.
128 GB Model
4000 mAH battery
Then the specs wud have matched with name.

They need to change that aerospace aluminium for mixed titanium. after iphone 6 plus, iphone 7 plus has the same problem with bending. everything results from this aluminium material. but not with 6s plus. Iphone 8 is with the same material like 7plus, so they didnt solve the problem with bending. smells like milions of not satisfied customers...

i7+ 256GB here. First and last apple product. But I will use it for 5 years before any other upgrades.

I have a 7 and won't buy 8, but there are people who are older than 16 (me) and have a monthly income so they can invest € 200 per year to always have the newest one (when selling the old one). I'll keep mine probably for about 5 years

Don't buy iPhone 8/8 Plus. Stick with your iPhone 7/7 Plus or go all out with the X
Though I still don't recommend iPhone X either because next year's iPhone 8s/9 would have both Touch ID under the display and (probably improved) Face ID, and might be priced around $800 (that's still cheaper than $1000 iPhone X though)
