So you'd recommend it for a first time econ... moreAvoid the iPhone model number with Intel Modem, it is slower and signal coverage is worse than Snapdragon, i owned 8 plus with intel modem and 6S plus which 100% all model are snapdragon modem, it is much better for signal coverage and speed, also for locking A-GPS
Intel modem is sucks because of that problem, A-GPS is hard to lock, always losing position, but 6SP with snapdragon i didn't get any trouble except the signal strength is not too strong like android

My phone indicates a the dark line at edge of the display. is It damage or something else?

i cloud services will not be available unless i agree
is there any prob. Regarding safety or privacy regarding those terms?

I have this phone from new, just upated it to iOS 15. Evertything is still smooth. Also it has a new battery from iFixIt, the original one was at 70% when I changed it last year. Wanted to upgrade to iPhone 13, but since it's still going strong and personally can't see anything revolutionary with the new one, I'll wait for the iPhone 14, or whatever will be called.

I own a iPhone 12!!! My wife owns a 8 Plus. Except for size and weight, the 8 Plus is still the best iPhone ever.

I have used an 8Plus since the release. I am now getting rid of the phone because not having an audio plug is driving me crazy! Also the glass is slippery and slides off literally any type of cotton or fabric surface you put it on.
It runs great today, no issues at all and the Stereo Speakers are excellent. Wireless charging has been a huge help when I had forgotten my cable or they had been chewed by my dog. The glass is no only slippery but also very weak. It chips, cracks, and scratches easily. I have had mine in a water proof case it's whole life. On my original battery from 2017 and it is still at 77% maximum capacity. I like the phone, I honestly loved it for years. But the audio plug is really a killer for me.
But, in my opinion I'd rather have a 6s or 1st gen SE. For the ability of an audio plug and user repairability.

I used to have this phone and I've been using it for a year than i switch back to android (samsung s9+)
Here's what i found
The performance is arguably same
S9+ has better screen and it even come with 3.5 jack which at that time is still a thing
Ip 8 do a better job on making things simpler while s9+ at that time give you tons of customization
Did i mention about battery? Nah the s9+ is of course better
So now it's 2021 and you guy's are complaining about this and that. Let me clear things up. If you want an iphone experience but you don't want to pay a lot, just buy yourself the iphone xr it's better than this and if you don't mind about this ui stuff just buy yourself an old flagship phone like the samsung s10 or the base iphone 11 they're cheaper and value for the money. But if you are not that heavy user and want ios features i guess this iphone 8 plus is a great deal considering the price now is cheap. Iphone 8 plus in my mind is like the forgotten brother of iphone 2017 series since iphone x come in the same year too so yeah

Recently I played Mobile Legend in smooth graphic setting..means lowest graphic setting..about 20 minutes while playing..the framerate decrease and the game lagging to much..its stuck..the game mention that my phone heating..so the framerate drop and lag..but i dont feel the hot of the phone..juz like normal
