I upgraded from my free iPhone 6 Plus 16GB to an iPhone 8 Plus 256GB (PRODUCT)RED in 2021 and I couldn’t be much happier. It’s unfortunate that iOS 16.x.x is the last supported version for the 8 Plus though. I’d be interested in an SE if they made the resolution the same as the 6/7/8 Plus’s (Full HD) but so far they’re all smaller handsets with lower resolutions (and batteries). I have no idea yet what my next phone will be.
I love my 8 Plus and my mum loves hers (same phone just different modem in the phone) - mine’s an A1864 and hers is an A1897.

the 2 and 3 shoulda had the same form factor, but this is PEAK iphone. I didn't forget about the 12 and 13 mini

Lovely durable little phone. I've changed the battery 2 times since buying it in 2017, last time to 1800 mAh capacity, and it's still going strong. Switched to Pixel 4a5g for just under a year until the screen stopped working all of a sudden.
Everything still works on SE and I like how small screen discourages from spending too much time on it.
Camera is decent, very few phones from that time could do 4k recording. Even these days a lot of newer phones that are more expensive than what you can get SE or 6S for don't have it, most of the time not even 1080p60. It's a shame that selfie cam is only 1.3 MP.

Got mine in 2016 and still going strong. Love the size and look and works great, however after all these years, battery life is pretty anemic, especially when paired with many complications on my Apple Watch. Also since it is no longer supported (OS updates/versions) I can not update my watch either. Might have to bite the bullet and get a new iPhone but will keep this one as a backup.

One of the most compact & reliable phone.
I currently have 6S as a backup phone.
I had this earlier then sold it for an upgrade.
Feels like selling 6S and buying this again :D

Love how simple ... moreMe neither :) The weight is perfect, the battery still holds up after I bought it refurbished in 2019 with 87 procent capacity. Also I like the white front of my SE. The SE's after this one all have a black front and only back colors that I don't like. And they shouldn't have quit the audio jack after the first SE. Not everyone has a wireless headset that continues to work for making phone calls. Wireless calling doesn't work with my headphones anymore since some update on the SE and iPad mini 5. Now I can still plug in the cord that came with the wireless headphones, but if I want to buy an iPhone again, I will have to buy an adapter just for handsfree calling with my headphones. I find this ridiculous and not really worth it :')

The best phone design apple came out with. Love how simple it is to change and upgrade the battery. After 8 years it still works great with newer apps, but it looks like support for it will soon cease. Not looking forward to getting a different phone, but just like the golden age of jailbreaking, all good things must come to an end.
