Guys, here is a satisfied customer of iPhone from India. I am using one 5S 16GB since May this year. This is a December,2015 piece and I got it secondhand @16K in May this year. For some hardware issues, I got the phone replaced in the first week of May. So, effectively it is only a 5 months old device.
Since it is a 16 GB one which has become little bit insufficient from the storage point of view, I have decided to go for a 64 GB SE which is available @44K in iPhone store. The store has offered me a buyback price of 12K for my 5S. Means I will have to pay net amount of 32K. Now, my question is
1. Is it worth to upgrade to a 64 GB SE by paying Rs 32,000.00 extra?
2. If I continue with 5S how can I buy additional warranty? The present one will expire on December,11,2016.

You can also look if you have turned on Bluetooth (settings > bluetooth)
A big factor are also background app refresh. You can have a look at them in settings > general > background app refresh

the iphone se is a great option for the budget conscious. this phone is great for one handed operation and also has some of the newer hardware installed like a faster processor etc.

Just traded in my 6s+ for the SE. Not regretting it. Takes about a day to get used to the small phone again, but has a lot of nostalgia using something this size. I had the Nokia N8 for many many years and this is the same size. Hope Apple keeps updating this size handset for many years to come.

The reason why I prefer iP7 over SE is because 4 inch is too small for me and 4.7 is still much more compact than these 5.5 inch slabs I also can't stand. Also waterproofing is a really important factor because it is helpful in everyday life because when you spill a glass of water, you don't have to worry that your phone dies. And when Apple optimized iOS to the iPhone 7, it will outperform the SE (which doesn't mean it is slow, it is still faster than 95% of the androids) and be more future proof and I can live without a jack (don't listen to music on my phone, only at home on my macbook). The design is better than on the iPhone 6, the silver iPhone 7 made the most progress and now just looks so beautiful, I think it is even comparable to the iPhone SE and much better than the iPhone 6 with fat plastic antenna lines and misplaced sticking out camera (the iPhone 7 cam is integrated into the body). So yeah, I'm happy the you became happy with apple, I'm also very satisfied with them and will be happy to change my crap android phone. I also have iPad mini 3 and MacBook Air and they are just awesome

For low budget rage i phone se is better compare to other budget phones camera is good . Battery also good . Good looking.

Anonymous, 08 Oct 2016SE ,the best mobile phone in the world. I wouldn't go that far but it definitely has the best value/price ratio as an iPhone! For me, this is a perfect iPhone for me: excellent performance (especially for gaming), classic 4-inch sized iPhone, best design/build quality iPhone, great audio quality (speaker&headphones) and fingerprint scanner. Really glad i bought this and not 5S... ...sure it was 130€ cheaper but SE is so much better in every aspect and more future proof! iOS 10 will probably be the last major update for 5S, anyway.

I think the market especially in the Apple camp became confused once Samsung and other Android OEMs started pushing larger phones on all of us. I see the advantages of bigger screens but what's the point of tablets anymore? I just find it rather odd that the iPhone Plus models don't have the same split screen features of the iPads but that's because "5.5 is still too small for something like that.
Everyone has their own preferences at what an ideal size to them. My ideal is from "4.5-"5 but would love the phone to be no taller than 130mm. I think this whole phablet movement will change once foldable screens come about in a few months. So why bother getting Note7, either iPhone 7 models, and V20 now when we know bigger screens will have smaller footprints once they can be folded? 2017 MWC is coming.
The iPhone SE is one of those oldies that is still a goodie. I saw the 6s outperform every Android flagship of this year packing Snapdragon 820, so SE should have no issues either as well having a better design and longer battery life than the 6s to boot. I am either thinking iPhone SE & PS4 slim or the current MacBook Air before they refresh it and eliminate ports. Don't miss out the SE though. The last iPhone to have a great and clean design, headphone jack, and no camera hump...
SE = greatest "4 smartphone ever and arguably the best iPhone that Apple ever inside and out especially in space gray...
^Very few weaknesses. Not only a bargain but extremely underrated while most of the flagships including the iPhone 7 bigger brothers feel overrated. I don't need Force Touch and the selfie cam is no big deal to me. This size is a dying breed now that the Sony Xperia X Compact failed to impress.
I just saw a review of the LG V20. Battery life was laughable at best. LG failed again on that one. While SE can outlast almost every iPhone out there. Double the battery life than V20 at half the price. I love LG more than Apple and prefer Android over iOs. But Apple nailed it this year with the SE and timing of the 7 Plus. Samsung and LG failed this year.
Returning to iPhone after three years being gone. And returning to the old way of having a compact phone again after using 137mm-144mm tall phones with "4.7-"5 displays for three years. The SE could be my first iPhone since the 4 but it truly deserves to be called a "Special Edition." The last great compact phone and great iPhone inside/out.

Savor , 07 Oct 2016Good thing LG kept batteries removable but battery life is ... moreI so agree with what you said. it is the best bargain as well as I don't think Apple would release any new model from this beast for one reason; consumers are confused buying this great device or the iPhone 7 for reasons related to what you said, I don't think Apple is ok with this.
In addition, do you know that the SE has shown faster booting and apps response over the iPhone 7? it's in youtube.
This phone is the real power horse and no one should miss it out.
