Keep trying to move onto bigger phones with newer specs and such but just keep going back to the SE.
it’s just perfect, I guess not staring at my phone screen 8hrs a day helps.
I check sports scores, weather, text, talk, and pictures.
Don’t understand people basically using tablets as their phone.

am I the only one who’s phone dies evrytime it’s 0°C outside. Battery health indicates 89%, yet once I go for a run or take pictures in cold, it calls time-out

The phone's battery runs down a lot faster with later operating systems and updates compared to it's initial operating system (iOS 9). With some major updates such as a new operating system installation, the phone's performance ends up slower and battery is reduced a little more. All the extra bloat and features (some running in the background) may make your phone's cpu work a little harder, reducing battery life quicker. Of course this may not be apparent on the latest phones that are much faster. The only solution is to update to a newer phone, or find a way to reinstall an earlier iOS, provided you back up all of your files first- but this may be tricky and you run the risk of bricking your phone. There are plenty of guides on how to downgrade your phone and keep your data online for the iphone

I bought this phone from a friend. The battery health is at 93% but it runs so fast. No sim card in it but I'm using Wi-Fi and the battery still runs down so fast. Do I need to replace the battery ?

It is good enough, the battery lasts, when you do many things it will last 6-7 hours, which is good like the standard 6 and 7 models, light and compact, touch ID - super fast and in an era where you need mask, is perfect to open quickly, not just having to always enter that pin when the face ID does not scan your face. I am a moderate user and I dont use whatsapp, just text and messenger, and sometimes facebook, but I avoid 4g as well for the battery, so I limit myself as well when it comes to usage accessories so it can compensate for battery. The camera is as good as you can get, cant ask for more. And don’t update, since you buy it, keep it like this and it will be your best iphone, just the apps when they require you to.
