Popz999, 20 Mar 2021I just wanna post my experience here. I have been using iPh... moreI have my iphone SE 64gb since 2017, best phone ever, I love it! I just changed the battery last month for a new one, and now it last long all day again! its amazing! and also feels like the phone works a lil bit smoother and faster than before, I very recommend to all SE’ owners do the same.

I just wanna post my experience here. I have been using iPhone SE since 2016 and I love it, its 5 years old now. Battery health is at 76% and still gives me 3.5 to 4 hours of screen on time. Now because I love small phones so much, I bought another iPhone 5S in 2018, a brand new one. As of today 5S battery health is at 90% because its not my main phone, I just use it when I am at home and when I go outside I carry my SE.

Now the irony is that, iPhone 5S with battery health at 90% has random shut downs when battery falls below 15-10%, whereas iPhone SE, an older phone with worse battery health at 76% is perfectly fine and I can use it all the way till the battery drops down to 1%. And on top of that 5S heats up a lot more than older SE. iPhone SE is on iOS 9 and iPhone 5S on iOS 12.

I recently downgraded my 5S to iOS 10.3.3 via the exploits available on the internet. After that all the random shutdowns went away, and no more excessive heat up like it did on iOS 12. Now you see guys, how Apple destroys older phone via iOS updates and forces customers to upgrade to newer phones.

My only pet peeve being on 10.3.2 is when I use Safari to check on Twitter, it's slow af. I experienced the same on my previous SE on 10.2.6. I can always download a dedicated Twitter app but don't wanted to. I only check a few times and it's usually like a few people on there.

For most basic usage, it's fantastic. I tend to use my 7 more but I do get annoyed it lacks a headphone jack. I have AirPods and it can get annoying having to charge it or losing connection. It's why I tend to favor the older SE more. Typing gets better with practice.

Little, 13 Mar 2021Which ios is best for long lasting on iPhone se 2016? Plea... moreJohn answered it well for you. I kept mine on 10.3.2 as that's what it came with. Some incompatibility with apps but I can live without them. I picked battery life over apps and it's excellent on iOS10.

My iPhone 7 is on 14.0.1 so I'm not missing anything with apps anyway. Honestly, the app discrepancy isn't big at all. I like my SE just the way it is. Excellent battery life. No strange bugs. And the music app layout looks a little better. I do miss dark mode.
