I myself am an android fan. That being said if this iphoneSE or the iphone 6s were under 300 dollars i'd be using one too most likely. When the SE was first rumored i thought it would be a great addition to what apple offers because it would most likely have a lower price, it would be another option for apple fans and it would come with upgraded hardware, even if it is not the best.
With the specs listed as they are, it is obvious that apple has taken a step towards the right direction but still has not met the mark. There is a small constraint with what the phone can fit in terms of actual space, and that is understandable, however with other phones out there outperforming and dominating with a slimmer and smaller profile that doesnt seem the case.
A cell phone manufacturer should not be making money off of popularity; Performance, quality and usability should be the driving force behind people's choices. Apple does not meet this with their phones.

Finally....I can upgrade my iPhone 4. I just could not go to the 6 when it was so huge. I need a PHONE that I can also text and do photos. I do not need a tablet you can use as a phone in an awkward emergency. Besides, I have little hands and little pockets.

Oh like the new SE - i have a 5s and I really don't like the new flat and rounded design of the 6/6s. Optical design is a value as well as the new specs for changing a phone but my old 5s will have to do as it updates and is still powerfull to do the jobs, I want to do it. But still .... drool ...

I think it's going to be a great success for Apple. The perfect follow up to the 5s which was a great phone. Great value for money.

Problem is, Apple knows they can get away with it, so they keep'em coming.

WHAT A BLUNDER!!!! 39000 for market as huge as in india!!! APPLE just did a BBerry there..around 25 k and this would have been a outright sellout..even 64 gb at that price was reasonable but 16 gb with live photos!! really apple!
was expectning 5s price to hover around 15k but looking at the huge price gap price drop is not expected..what a pity ..apple u fail us..i mean ..really

ray, 23 Mar 2016whY? Because the 2GB isn't sufficient enough, in fact the camera will be recording in 4K... The new generation phones come with 3GB RAM (the least), doesn't matter if that's a second or first hand phone. Iphone users should definitely raise their voice so Iphone can step up.

When I owned the iPhone 5 and the 6 was released, I wondered why Apple chose to abandon the 4 inch screen. This phone to me serves as an answer to that question and I really love the idea behind it. And since Apple has answered my question therefore when this one arrives I will definitely get it. Because I loved my iPhone 5 and I'm sure I'll definitely love this one. Yes, it won't be the greatest smartphone out there but it will be the greatest smartphone for me. All I want is a phone works great not a cinema that fits in my pocket.

But I think they found out that people did not like that strategy with the S6 so if the S7 sells better then the s6 does it was a mistake to do it that way to begin with. Because they did that to the S6 They lost 2 sales we did not upgrade like we normally did and stayed with our S4's.

I've hated ios all these time for it's system. But I desired it only for its built quality. Now I made sure after seeing this launch and had an idea like "Iphone is Iphone". I was thinking of buying samsung s7. I have definitely changed my mind. I will buy iphone SE. Good job Apple!!

I think "SE" means "Special Edition". The Special Edition iPhone for those who want a compact "mobile", not a "phablet". The new generation people won't understand that why Apple has made this beauty. Because they don't understand what the word "mobile" truly means. I really appreciate Apple for stopping my search for a small screen smartphone. I'm definitely gonna buy this "Mobile".
